Guntersville Top Baits and Fishing Report for June

We go over our top baits on Lake Guntersville for the month of June and take a look at what I’m looking for on my LakeMaster mapping. We have a great afternoon catching largemouth and spotted bass on a classic offshore (ledge) feeding spot. Never seen the loop knot on a jig head like that. I do it on walking topwaters. Why on the jig head?

Ha… should have finished the video before I asked the question. Interesting. Never thought about it like that before.

It’s helps keep the bait horizontal and looks more natural. Ole crappie fishing trick. A lot of the pros are doing it now.
