    Francesco, that was wonderful. Thank you so much for covering Twos and helping more people become aware of it. You said some really nice things about Joe and me and we can't thank you enough. ✌❤
    To clarify, everything is free on web and desktop which is why you had hyperlinks. The upgrades are only needed in the mobile app :)
    Split allows you to take a long *thing* (multiple sentences) and split it up by a character (splitting by period would split up the one long *thing* into multiple *things* for each sentence). Join does the opposite, joining multiple *things* into one with a certain character
    Twos is the first app designed specifically around the concept of writing *things* down. Something you need to experience to understand the power of it, but we don't exactly treat notes different from to-dos or reminders or calendar events. They are all *things* so it is quick and simple.

    Been my life saviour since I started using it. From reminding me to do laundry and taking out the trash to storing book and series notes to come back to later and not to mention sharing ideas in Twos World. it's everything I could've asked for. And more, because Parker and Joe has always made me and other members feel so welcome, we don't really have any other option but to love it (alot).

    People need to understand that projects can't be separated from notes, since projects are tasks+notes, so having a different note-taking and to-do-list app doesn't make sense. This is why Twos is a necessity. I'm not joking, I had recently concluded that apps don't really matter, results will depend always depend on my will or something like that. So, after testing 100s of notes/to-do apps I settled. But then I gave Twos a try and my productivity sky rocketed for the first time. Now my second-brain feels complete or existent in the first place.

    This app is god damn brilliant. It removes all the friction to daily use associated with all the other overly-complicated productivity apps.

    Thanks Francisco but for once i don't agree with you :) that twos is lighter or less serious then todoist, it is as powerfull, even more powerfull if you need it. It is one of the best mixes i have found in years. The strength is that during your (work)day it can be your quick go to store some things app or if needed it manages your projects, meeting notes etc. This is the first productivity app that i used with no effort at all for more then a year, i will never look back. Give it a try!
    Some highlights:
    - The AI feature gives you the possibility to query your lists.
    - Shortcuts for writing are really helpfull, you missed the note thing/entry and some markdown typing.
    - You can plan your week in the week view by dragging tasks, lists, things.(kanban style)
    - Twos world is like microblogging / community.
    - Exporting/sharing notes is a really nice experience.
    - Community is helpful, smart and fun.
    Keep up the good work Francisco love your channel

    Thanks Francisco, for reviewing (again) the app. Twos is extraordinary in that it has a lot of power but some of the workflows need a video guide. I can see you struggling with it at times…which might require a live call with Joe and Parker. It would be cool to have you on their podcast!

    Important to mention that this app is working OFFLINE TOO. Except for posting photos you can do anything. It syncs immediately on mobile and web as well.

    This seems basic feature but this is just *chef's kiss* and exactly what most people need. I've been looking for something like this bec most apps I've used are overwhelming or not as aesthetic.

    If they ever release team features and a team chat feature, I can imagine this competing very well with so many other apps. Even the whole rewards things with coins etc can be utilized in a team/business setting. i.e. redeem coins for work based perks etc.

    Tried to download the Windows installer and immediately Windows Security threw up alerts and deleted the installer with a "Virus detected" warning, which is rather ominous.

    Evernote

    • @getmc
      @getmc Місяць тому

      I’d say it’s Evernote if the Evernote team knew how to do decent UI design. Evernote was ruined years ago. It started out good, then stagnated for years, then went backwards when they kept redesigned the UI. Evernote Home Screen is horrible and useless. It caused me to stop using Evernote after being one of their early users.

    • @Han_Zuyderwijk
      @Han_Zuyderwijk Місяць тому

      @@getmc I understand your frustration. I also used EN as one of the early users, and moved to another solution. Just last week I opened a new account to give it a new spin. I think the current team at Bending Spoons have found many skeletons in the closet. But I am interested to see where they take the product. In my regard, they made the right decision to increase the prices and focus on stability and reliability.
      Twos seems to have taken not 1 or 2, but many cues from Evernote. Hopefully, they will not make the same mistakes Evernote made.

    I am grateful for all the reviews you do but why have you started to throw in the word "like" randomly in your talks? Please be aware that it is extremely irritating and makes your videos much less watchable.
