The word “ remnant” is NEVER used in the Bible to refer to the true church a.k.a. the bride of Christ. It IS used about Israel. Actually, Dispensationalism is the only interpretation that still holds to God's promises to the Jewish people and their future redemption and restoration.
It is interesting that the word "dispensation" does not appear in Scripture. However, the word covenant does, many times. God makes covenants with his people. This might be a better place to start with a theological paradigm. It would also be a good idea to read the church fathers. There were about 100 of them and they did not hold to a dispensational view of Scripture either. Third, what did Yeshua teach being a Jewish Rabbi? He was not dispensational in his teachings.
