The weather looks fantastic in Scotland right now. A good looking herd I didn't see a single cow that looked diseased or unwell so that's just awesome farming. We were glad that they made it to pasture at the end because they looked worn out from the day. Great content, it makes us want to come back to lovely Scotland
An awesome herd of that quality doesn't come about by accident. Years of experience , top stockmanship and a genuine love of livestock are there for all of us to see and admire. Not to mention the breathtaking scenery. I wish you well and look forward to the next installment.
I have to say that you have mighty handling systems both for the cattle and the sheep and those cattle are mighty healthy looking beasts excellent video thanks
Canadian beef farmer here. Great looking fall calves. Sometime could you explain about the windmills? Do they rent the land they sit on or pay you revenue for access? Thanks, keep up the good work.
Whats the building up on the hill. The few black calves ruin the bunch.... some shed of cows and calves . How many cows are in each batch. Stock are a credit to ye. Great handling facility for cattle.
Hi there just a quick question I know your weaning the calves now but if the cows are calving in the next month or so surely that isn't alot of time for them to recover from having the calf. Hope all goes well for calving cheers
Only 6 cows came back looking at the gate, the rest have all weaned naturally so are already recovering and putting condition back on ☺️ it’s a fine balance, we don’t want to pull the calves off to early either as then they will put all that condition onto unborn calf which could cause calving problems.
@LivestockfarmHER2 Yep that sounds good as I say I was just wondering because on our hill farm our calfs are weaned abit earlier Good to know hope calving goes well 👍
A super herd of cows! Can’t beat the Simmy

Hello nicola, hope all the calving goes alright for you take care
A couple of garlic lick buckets with the springers will make for trouble free udders later 🤔
We put these out to, but only works if they all go to them 😊

No we are all naturally served. We get on well with our Charolais’, king of the kilos 😊
Hi you said tar the udders can you explain this please? Is it similar to in dairy cows?
What is the tar for? I've never heard of it being used for cattle?
To try prevent mastitis, smell & stickiness keeps the flies away 😊
बहुत सुन्दर जगह है
We used to use old motor oil on our animals for the flies and by golly it worked wonders darling sweet sexy young lady xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx
