This may be a dumb question, but why doesn’t the diver that’s on the gold show the replacement diver where to continue to mine? Can’t they both be under the water at the dive site at the same time for a few minutes to show him where to keep mining? To stay on the gold nonstop? Then that diver can return to the surface and get a break while the other one continues to mine? I’m just asking anybody to explain why this isn’t done.
No, because there's only one air hose and that's connected to the diver, when I worked my parents Mining operation in the Brooks Range Alaska, we only had 1 hose per dredge

These kind of shows demand drama. Producers claim that's what audiences want. So, the director probably told the new diver not to go to the producing cut right away. He probably told him to slowly work his way to it and voice his concerns to Emily to get it on video. I know Emily gets a regular paycheck from the company that produces the series, so she's going to go along with their suggestions to a point, as long as she's still getting the gold.
As a woman involved in what's mainly a male industry I admire that ..What I don't like is how she relies too much on star diver Daryll gallipo he in my opinion is the best diver that uses a dredge hose ...Her father though is a joke .She's only happy when poeple are making money for her while she sits moaning on the intercom like a,spoilt brat 😅
I remember Emily's first daze sic diving. She was not a good diver. So oh much easier on a radio top side giving addvice on how to do the work she was too scared to do. Typical that women want equal pay without equal work. Lets see you put on a diving suit and do what you tell others to do.
