Is there an option to build a .22 magnum or even a /17 HMR like this?
.17 Mach2, yes!! HMR and .22WMR, NO!! This stock will only accept standard actions, not Magnum Actions.
You know of anything for a Rem.597? Besides Boyd's or Archangel?
Ya, I only knew about Archangel, didn't even know Boyd's made a stock for it.

@@yrsued stupid question... what carries the serial number? The original is on the barrel.
@@hondasaurusrex6998 The Serial Number in the 10/22 has ALWAYS been in the Receiver, it has to be! That is the serialized part!!

We released one on the stock, but we shot at only Ten Yards, I want to go to 25 with Good Ammo before I make up my mind.
The 10/22 is safe to dry fire.
Your choice, personally, I wouldn't do it, but it's your gun, you do with it as you wish.
@@yrsued I’m an Appleseed instructor. All my 10/22 have been dry fired thousands of times. The firing pin is short enough it never hits the breech.

@@charlesmckinley29 Again, that ia fine, me, personally, I have seen enough Rimfire Firearms damaged due to Dry Firing and I don't want that to happen to me.
NOt all rimfire are the same, but I do have a Ruger Cylinder that is damaged due to Dry Fire.
Ruger has a GREAT warranty, but some of my 10/22's are NOT Ruger, I don't want to find out that I have the one that will get damaged. My Gun, My choice
