I got this set back in the 90's but don't remember making any of these models. If I did, it would have probably been the plane.
Although removed from shelves before release due to a recall I do believe the V22 Osprey was motorized? 42113
Yo, I'm actually really mad about the Osprey. I was really looking forward to that set before they canned it. And I'm even more mad because they released what limited stock only outside of the US, so I basically had no change of getting one without being scalped. Absolutely awful.
Newest driffential has double beveled teeth 2 more gears locking driffential and secure gears for loose the gers
Yes, that is correct. It's also more parts intensive and cumbersome to use though.
I'm so jealous on this set! But I will buy soon for 59€ + an extra switch!
@@NonsenseWars Got on " Ebay Kleinanzeigen". Its a german used marketplace, where private people can sell the stuff they dont need anymore.
Hi I think you will be very interested in those two thing : the B model of the air tech claw rig (8868) ( more or less a similar function than the rabbit, also i thought it was a dog or a k9 ) and the idea starting on the page 78 of the idea book 8888 ( lego.brickinstructions.com/en/lego_instructions/set/8888/Idea_Book ) if you see them and think they are intersting, tell me :)
also, the F1 hauler, in my opinion, is one of the best representative of the old 9V system in the city line, what do you think about this set? :)
Funny you mention the F1 Hauler! We actually talked about acquiring and reviewing one a few months ago, but they are not cheap and not common! The Air Tech truck is a similar story... if we see a good deal on either of these we will probably pick them up!
@@NonsenseWars I was lucky enough tto find these sets at cheaper price, but it's true they can be expensive... also, did you saw the idea from the 8888 book?
I was amazed when I got this set a few years ago... it really is a shame we don't get multi-sets like this that demonstrate a wide variety of mechanisms
Ya we still have Creator sets for System, but nothing for Technic. I wonder if it's because modern Technic parts don't lend themselves as well to making multi-sets.
