@@MrCMaccc I suppose if they quickly smurf through the lower tiers and live in Challenger to them Bronze, Iron, Silver, Gold, Plat, and Diamond feel similar. I think the mechanical level of lower elo has risen, and Teddy had to rely on the bad summoner/runes to determine elo.

@@fabianmaj6282 Actually Vayne played it pretty bad, every time she tried to kite(Not just right click and let the game do the job) she lost the time of her attack. She also just got in Pantheons range, but he's so terrible playing that he can't even hit a point-n-click stun. The only thing she did is to flash that terrible Nami's ult... That play was funny to watch, but absolutelly no one played it well
Edit: I'm main ADC, so is Teddy and Rekkles, thats why its obvious to us that Vayne can't do the basics of ADC, maybe for someone who plays another role its not that obvious

@@rafaelsobrozavieira1530 Nah man, it's obvious to anyone who is decent at the game, not just adcs. The lack of mechanics was obvious. Nothing happened quickly and decisively and he really didn't move the character properly between basic attacks. It's like the clip with vayne diving mid tier 2 turret. Right clicks the enemy and doesn't cancel attack animations.
Basically anything below Master is the same for these guys.

Noone can see diff, I play rank on 5-10 accs per season, i see no difference when going from bronze to plat, I mean some of the worst ppl I have ever seen were d5/4 otps with over 1mil pts and 40ish% winrate.
Greatius Iterfector yeah the worst players are those that have over 500 games in plat. They barely got out of gold by spamming games.
@marcohoffi Yeah, like GRF Chovy who was a Master tier player when his coach discovered him. Apparently he had the game knowledge of a Silver player, but his mechanics were so insane that he was in Master off of sheer mechanic skill alone. Like, he didn't even know a lot of the champion skills, but still dodged them anyway through pure reaction.
Then CV Max taught this teenage mechanical god how to actually play the game, and we all know what happened.

If you cast it perfectly within couple ms, it casts instantly

@@XZagatoX Not necessarily, play was pretty normal for a more mechanical player apart from the QSS which was pretty good. He's also a Gosu fan so chance is he plays Vayne a lot.
Rengar also he canceled a lot of autos so it was nowhere near perfect. it looked impressive tho

To be fair most of the time they were saying it was bad because the enemy team was retarded. I very much agree with their assessment. They don't just look at the individual plays they looked at how everyone played. The person who submitted it vid may have played ok either way.

Vayne didnt even know how to orbwalk. There are silver players that know how to do that. So that vayne has to be autofilled.
It's so weird you see one player in gold standing still while autoattacking and the other one is there too but kites really well with attack move and all that stuff. Maybe the stand still player makes better decisions but it's confusing Gold should be decent but people seem to not even know the basics of the game.

Mechanically the “gold” Vayne was very impressive, irelia just pressed q very fast.
Kaydens haha but it's actually not easy to aim and press q that fast without accidentally dashing onto the wrong target and fucking up your q reset
@@star99azer not really, with sheen all caster minions get one shot, so it's pretty easy, what I thought was high elo was the presence of mind to think about doing that mid tower dive.
I'm mastery 5 on irelia (so not good, but familiar with the champ). I can attest to the fact that it is not easy to be precise enough to do something like that.

Literally every time they were diamond, Rekkles always gives his reasoning as to why he picked super low ELO as "the enemies are inting"
For anyone interested in low elo insights, I did a short summary :D. Somehow I smelled a pretty close tier to what it was, 3 plays down to exact tier, because I played through all the low tiers so much... This is what went down in my head:
1. Sivir (S1/guessed S1) - movement is bad, nothing special, just accurate Q throws (can be done by anyone who knows how to use mouse)
2. Ahri (D3/guessed D2) - good timing, good movement, flashy plays are mostly in Diamond, where people are very adept mechanically
3. Irelia (P3/guessed P3) - seemed like a lot of unnecessary movement and button mashing, but hey it worked
4. Vayne (G1/guessed G1) - I was in gold for so long, used to see these brainless plays and tunneling, gold players are just very inconsistent
5. MF (B4/guessed I1) - Very static, just forward movement, lee inted too hard
6. Vayne (S1/guessed S2) - players playing blindly, simple mechanics
7. Vayne (G2/guessed M) - whoa, overshot with this one, enemies tunneled a bit, but it happens even in high elos
8. Jhin (P4/guessed P2) - positioning could be more aggressive, but what stood out is enemy team not focusing at all
9. Ahri (D3/guessed D2) - diamond is realm of flashy plays and predictions, enemies kinda inted, though
10. Nami (Unranked/guessed S2) - had no idea what rank Sjokz was/is :D
I didn't really pay attention to summoners, cs. Mostly action speaks for itself.
I guessed correctly the first based soley on the enemy going back in after yummi activated her ult. That going in because you don't want to "whiff" somethign that is well already whiffed, with like 10% hp! That play is below even gold to me. The not wanting to wiff thing I get, but doing it with 10% hp into 2 enemies with like 70% health?!
2. The Ahri missing all the early CS made me think she was worse than diamond. I guess i'm only used to my elo and watching like pro's play but I honestly thought CS got progressively better, that looked like she wasn't even trying to last hit...

Teddy have yet to prove himself on the internationnal stage, even if I do like him, we can see newcomers from China and Korea struggle a little at the beginning and Teddy didn't show a lot the first week, we'll probably see him carrying soon !

this is my favorite fntc series
love this series goes to show rank matters very little in the grand scheme of things if you have decent mechanics and knowledge/understanding of the game, macroly, you can techincally be unranked and have diamond skill, just don't have the time to climb because of work/school etc.
But that doesn't happen because you don't get better playing against players of mostly random skill. Ranked players get to play with and against a full team that tries to win, this isn't true in norms and norms players aren't usually good.
For some reason I was smiling whole through out this video.
