Joey recorded this version of “What a Wonderful World” as he was dying of cancer. It was released on his posthumous album “Don’t Worry About Me.”

A celebration of local Hardcore and Punk Rock. Walking down the same streets and into the same doorways and doorsteps that The Ramones and all of those other great bands of the time is an absolute honor. The vibe is still here. The hustle and industrial bustle. The scene is awaiting an insurgence of new sound to help revive and evolve what it once was. The headlining band last night was No Redeeming Social Value was a great addition to the legacy and sound of this area. Check em’ out. But there’s nothing like The Ramones!
