in the Thai version, the main character turned out the best, she is not just a clumsy cutie, as in other film adaptations. in the Thai version I feel her strength and steely character. And the actress in the new remake is very beautiful!

thai version is literally the BEST. from the cast, character development, overall storyline, etc. time production is an important factor too, there are many of pleasing camerawork and technology. once again, shout out to the casting team! the overall cast is perfect!
special mention for thyme's mother who unbelievably gorgeous, intimidating and charismatic!!

So today started watching meteor garden. I already watched the thai version last year. I just managed a few episodes of the korean boys over flowers. I just could not watch it. Personally i did not like the korean version.

F4 thailand has probably the hottest, most cutest cast out of all of them and that's my opinion. The other actors are cute too but the way they showed MJ, and his whole gangster look. It's really enticing and i can't even keep my eyes off him even though he's not the mc. This man has me in clutches 😭

@@borntobeblink4688 exactly they made gorya so strong and smart while in the other versions the girls act so innocent and dumb on purpose, it was slightly agitating. thyme also did a great job because he actually shows that innocent side of his that has been suppressed under the pressure of his mother while in the other versions, they acted too grown to be high schoolers lol

Thailand visuals are top notch and honestly it's not too much of a drag bt still emphasised everything nd back stories are amazing. They actually looks like high schoolers . The main lead was the cutest like his comedic timing is the best nd tu is the most strongest her acting is also amazing even though this is literally her 1st acting project. Boys Over Flowers is legendary and an og drama in the K-drama world and I think everything about it is amazing.
Meteor Garden in my opinion has the best F4 members, the boys have great chemistry and they aren't bullies but just really smart people that everyone wants to prove themselves too.
F4 Thailand I think has the best female lead, she's strong and determined and doesn't let anyone get in the way of the things she cares about.
So to me I think they are all great in their own aspects.
I'm waiting for a Japanese version to fall soon.

The original story originated in Japan and in manga/anime and 2005 live-action, everything that is happening in the Thai version happened in all the Japanese versions. The Chinese version is the one that created a new story. There was no card game or anything in Hana Yori Dango(Boys Over Flowers).

Thai version is absolute perfection. i cannot imagine a better adaptation of this story. Gorya is so so good, she's so strong and sweet, Tu has great acting skills. and unlike other versions Thyme is not aggressive, violent or cruel, he's very sweet and considerate and childish in a cute way❤️❤️❤️

Overall, Dylan wang really potrayed daoming si so well. He's really looks like a 'pricey man' and the chinesse version of this drama has the original soundtrack. And F4 in the chinesse version have a very good chemistry!!!
The Chinese version is the most realistic, there is a lot of humor, more modern, nice to watch.

i don't think they should be compared the c-drama focused more on the other characters and the relationships, it was "fluffy" whilst this is darker than all the other versions and a little boring at time (in my eyes)

The thai boys have the actual swag to play f4 instead of just having a plain dead expression. Their costume, walk , facial expressions and attitude are perfect to potray spoiled rich boys drunk with popularity and power . They seem more natural and believable than the other two . Thai version is definitely the best acted f4 .
I am boys over flowers biased 😁 It's my first Korean drama and it will always my top fav. I always binge watch it whenever I feel lonely or need a cheer up in my life. My handsome boy lee min Ho never failed to make me happy 🥰 and others too.

The Thai ver. just hits so different, the way they potrait the character is very fascinating, and just round of applouse of the plot! I can't get enough of it. Plus, they are all very good looking 😁 the acting & chemistry is chef kiss. F4 Thailand totally became one of my fav drama of all time❤
You put this together to make the other versions look like the “F4” characters were richer and better dressed. You brought your bias into it. The Chinese version is the best in my opinion. Excellent cast and costumes. The actors nailed it and I believed and felt all the emotions depicted- I felt the heart break pain and cried several times and also felt the joy of Daoming Si.
Korean BoF is like the first love which we could never forget and still got that sweet love vibe and will be always the best.
And I love the Thailand F4 as well bcz, the way Bright portrayed the character is simply amazing.. He just not copy and past the Thyme's role (Gu Jun Piyo ) he made his own new version and displaying it really well. So it feels like a whole new drama .

@@meghanwilson1330 actually the original meteor garden is from 2001, meteor garden 2018 uses a lot of songs from the original meteor garden 2001. And some original cast members also did cameo.
And the first human adaptation was Hana yori dango 1995 😁 so there are many adaptations before meteor garden 2018

I have a really high expectations from F4 Thailand because Meteor Garden was one the first show I've ever seen. I actually think there is no better Daoming Si than Dylan Wang (I love him so bad), but Bright is an amazing actor (and others from F4 as well) so I really think his acting is quite unique and great. I actually can't imagine someone else as Thyme right now because Bright is so good in this role. One unpopular opinion is probably the fact that I don't like any of his clothes - outfits (expect of the blue T-shirt at the party - that looked cool), but I think I'll start loving it in time

Each character has been portrayed in detail, not just the male leads.
The female is strong and sensible. The F4 friendship among themselves and with Gorya is the best. I liked the casting and their natural acting.
In my opinion, i dont rlly like their sanchai(gorya) because the original their sanchai is short haired girl and the thai's gorya is kinda ugly TO ME, she's just not perfect

From my point of view, the actress is beautiful, beautiful, for me she is the girl for whom the character was perfect, as well as her physical appearance, her personality, etc., just like the entire cast. F4 thailad, from my perspective, is the best version, for many reasons, especially because of all the versions it is the one that I liked the most, not only because it is more modern, but also because it is more realistic and that in each chapter it is the which is more logical. Each event that each character goes through is so developed, and is very understandable, which makes the viewer feel that it is what the series wants to convey, also each character very easily, that is, in a scene of sadness you feel sadness, a scene of attention the same, of romance you feel the chemistry of the characters and the couple, all that and more makes you not want to stop watching it, and that you also get into the story, so that in the end you fall in love with it. Chinese Meteor Garden is the most superb, like a great opera, the emotional pain is felt so strong, the love so crazy, as in the beginning when you’re young! the music is outta site (esp Say Something & River), the boys are true to their loyalty. Shancai is like a powerful saint, standing in the pouring rain, for love of Daoming Si, who is dying in the house, of love. Which goes on and on, in and out - like a River! Like a wave! 🌊

Although I liked Chinese one too but THAI one is BEST of all. Not only the actors did an amazing job in portraying their characters, but the subtle changes in the story that they made, made the drama even better and gave it a natural flow. Most of all, the FL was not a cringe and follows her beliefs and uses her brain most of all. Her character is relatable which makes the drama better compared to other FL characters in other versions. The FL in Chinese one did a great job in portraying her emotions too but it wasn't shown as a strong character like Gorya who knows how to apologise when she is in wrong and knows how to straight THYME by hitting him with her bag or garbage bag. LOL. I guess having so many versions of same story will come up with reasonable and critical compare of the dramas, as long as it's not throwing unreasonable hate or so. MY vote goes to F4 Thai.
If I talk about story Korean and Chinese is totally same u will feel like oo it's Same just the language , actors and production is Chinese... But in Thai It's like totally a new story u will not feel like I have already watched it 2 times and I know this story because it's different... for a example like they totally recovered card part from the story and also there are many....

In the manga the female leading character is more like the Chinese Shancay: both strong and insicure. For this reason I prefer her

Every version has its own charm. Bof reminds me of my college days. I just went crazy for lee min ho at that period; chinese had a satisfactory finale and lots of cute scenes especially when the main leads are officially together; thailand is still on the 6th episode but every episode comes in a surprise... so i can't really choose among the 3. I wanna be selfish and just have them all

Korean version will def be the most iconic!!! They popularized even the term F4 and introduced K-dramas to many fans today. Some may even say they created the ‘hallyu wave’. Such a classic.
That's very true, in my country, most people started watching k-dramas cos of F4, so no f4 can beat the Korean version except there's another Korean version.
Boys Over Flowers is officially a classic for most of us watching Kdramas in the USA. It was actually what got me started watching Korean dramas, and then I started watching other Aisian dramas. I have made it a point to watch every version of this particular drama, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and Thai. I enjoyed them all. But Boys Over Flowers is my favorite.
The first f4 I watched was Taiwanese, I think that one was made around thirty years ago, and for me it's the best, I could also say the Chinese and Thai are also good

I haven't watched the other 2 versions but I really liked the Thai one , The plots and the chemistry between thyme and gorya was chef's kiss . The character roselynn really surprised me with her evil looks and acting . Honestly this F4 THAILAND drama experience was amazing , its my first ever thai drama and i absolutely loved it , I even watched it more than twice

What I love about F4 Thailand is that they have given story to every character. Like why FL falls for 2nd ML, and I love the character of FL best friend who will be together with Kavin.

This is not BOF, It's Hana Yori Dango (Manga) ... turn into "Meteor Garden" "Hana Yori Dango" "Boys Before Flower " Series. Many people like the Korean version because is more recently compared to MG 2001 y HYD 2005.. you should try to watch them too :)

I have watched all the versions and currently watching the Thai version. The Thai version surprised me it's so good and the actors are so amazing. No idiotic super clingy stuff and the actors are super good-looking. I am having a hard time to get thyme put of my mind. He is so handsome plus such a good actor! Definitely the Thai version is the best one for me

The japanese version will be forever my favorite one, but the Thai version is PERFECT. I like the fact that Thyme isn't extremely childish and imature like Gu Jun Pyo or Daoming Su, he actually shows that he's not that ruthless with his expressions and he knows he'll have big responsabilities in the future. MJ's character caught my attention too, I hope they give him the spotlight he deserves since the character's story can be more explored. Also this version feels a little bit more real, the school is a trash can but that's because the students are truly terrible, they just needed the freedom Thyme gave them. It's not just some rich guy controlling everyone in a school with I don't know 400 students??

The Japanese was the best version for me too until this Thailand version came out. It’s now shaping up to be the best version overall so far with the beautiful cinematography, their sound and song choices perfectly matching the mood the of scenes and used in an impactful way, good (and not cringey) acting from main and supporting casts. Provided insights on why the characters are the way they are. Addressed the bullying issue seriously and didn’t gloss over it because it is a serious issue and should be handled that way. The pacing might be fast for those unfamiliar with the story but it’s fine with me because I don’t like fillers and endless flashbacks just to fill in the time. I love Thyme and Gorya’s chemistry whether they were having intense confrontations or bickering like little kids. I’m excited for when they start falling in love (Thyme’s already there, and how adorable he is; Gorya still need to catch them feelings).
