Hi! Amazing videos, thanks for sharing! Maybe it's a silly idea, but what I noticed is that the deflector plate is way down low. Is there a reason for that? Wouldn't it be better to bend the holders back so that the plate is level with the clay insert's surface? That way it could be filled with more charcoal. Would it work like this?
I'm planning on buying one, but I'm a bit worried, because in one of your other videos you mentioned, that you may need to fill it with charcoal again midway throughout the cooking, and it seems like a lot of hassle this way.

If you make the deflector plate to close to the grill it won't deflet the heat ,but add to the heat at the bottom of your meat that's cooking,burning the bottom

Just noticed that Lidl will release the Mini next Thursday (in England). Now i'm considering this or the Joe Jnr. What are your thoughts between the two?

The joe jnr is a is a bigger grill space better warranty and build quality, the mini lid ls smaller but great for the price
