I have no idea how to start it. Watched several videos but it doesn’t work. Had a powerball years ago that used a string to start. Thought this would be more convenient but it’s not.
Can anyone explain how to start it? I’m doing it like the video but it won’t spin.

I see this comment is several months old, but I am wondering if you figured it out? I ask as I am in the same boat. I have watched this video multiple times along with a few others but cannot get my gyro ball going. There must be something I am missing. It just unwinds as I am rotating it. Any suggestions / tips are welcome.

It just stops, no momentum . not even as much resistance as a yoyo. Trying to figure out if mine is defective or there's a trick.i didn't get instructions for.winding doesn't do alot
