Retail wow feels a LOT like an ARPG and it seems like SOD is trending that direction. So funny to me how supposedly "classic" enjoyers are having fun with SOD. Its retail lite and it's lazy. Sod sucks.
Great vid! 2 questions: 1) What rune gives the healing? 2) Theorycrafting. I love the idea of being able to run challenging solo dungeon farm runs, bosses as well. What classes would you theorize are the best? To provide some examples, shamans were able to do some fun SFK farming in P2 and hunters and mages farmed SM Cath. Personally, I really like the idea of running in with a tank, AOE farming whilst regenerating health, and now it looks like rogues may be able to perform that gameplay too!
1) Carnage rune now heals the rogue for 30% of Rupture AND Crimson Tempest damage. 2) Mages have always been the kings of crazy solo farming, their AoE, CC, and Movement abilities allow them to do incredible things. Paladins also have new and interesting capabilities in SoD that can allow them to do thier own farms. That being said, I love rogue solo stealth farms and developing them is so much fun. Depends on your preference but if you like tanking farms, play with the Paladin runes and develop something new!
tbh it is seems kinda balanced, cuz character on video have pretty decent gear and, what most important, its fully buffed. The preparations itself will cost you hell of a ton of gold and time, but if you'll somehow fail (by mistake\lag\disconnet\smth else) after only 10-15 mins of farming.. a guess some keyboard might get hurt
@gg05irgm BrO its you are who out of reality if you think that spending near 100g per hour on consumables and getting all world buffs only for 2 hour (just getting them all is a 30min at best, or spend even more gold for mage portals) to do the farm where 1 death mean you lose all that stuff and had to redo it is overpower. Not even saying that pally and maybe some1 else can do the same or smth near same with all that gear and buffs. You can call oVeRpOwEr vanila solo mages who was doing full dungeon pull to farm\boost\etc, but not SoD where is no conception of balance By the way, if this is the braindead level of OP, how did you call the hunters that solo clears half of Uldaman at phase 2 and then do 40-50 there in a few hours at the start of phase 3 even with a green questing gear?
@@anyotherday-wh8lo Did you not watch the video? he literally says you can easily do this farm with no consumables he just had them on in the clips cause he was testing other farms aswell
They tend to work better the more you practice - I remember learning to aoe farm for the first time as a mage; I kept dying and I couldn't understand how people did it so effortlessly. I kept at it and kept reaching new breakpoints where I suddenly understood range, timing, spacial awareness, cooldowns, etc in ways that I didn't before. Now I love theorycrafting and practicing the theory to make new farms. Stick at it!
@@chrisazz4642 Carnage now heals you for 30% of rupture damage, this also applies to crimson tempest and you get heals from both if you have both bleed on mobs.
I agree, rogue healing is ridiculous and doesn't fit the class fantasy at all. I'd rather they removed it but as long as it's in the game, i'll find ways to use it creatively.
So all was complitely fine when rogues was solo clearing 40+ mobs at once in Karazhan and Black Temple using the trinket + fan of knives spam to heal themselfs in WoTLK, but now... Now its a criminal microsoft that destroys our precious game... right?
I always go engineering as you have access to trinkets and items that allow you to do creative and technical things that are not possible any otherr way. If you want to learn or develop new farms and tricks, you have to have engineering. My second spec is alchemy, mainly holding out for some new items that will add more value to these kinds of farms. If we don't get any interesting alch recipes soon, i'll switch to enchanting so I can DE items from DMN Tribute and make lots of gold.
Go with whatever you want frankly. I do enchanting/mining on my rogue - leatherworking has some amazing gear too (but it does get replaced in MC fairly quickly). I like enchanting because I need the rep grinds and it's helpful to have and I'm lazy about finding enchanters.
maybe its just me, but the longer sod goes on, the more i feel like I'm playing a character designed for Diablo
Lmao. I'm guessing your only Diablo experience is Diablo 🤮3🤮

Easiest gold farm ever with every world buff, potion, and full bis.
He did say in the vid that it can easily be done without any buffs he just had them on cause he was testing different goldfarms aswell :)
AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA
@TrickzTime so he didn't do a vid without all of them just because
ready for the next video!
How do you pull the top when there is a fireguard guarding the largest pack?
Yeah this seems balanced

Do you think a tank rogue w/your setup and Druid healer can start farming this for XP around level 52?
Im working on a full tank build for phase 4 rogue. I've seen videos and "guides" but they don't work well in practice.

How does a rogue has Self healing as u mentioned at 5:10?
Carnage rune makes Rupture heal 40% of its dmg
So Classic SOD is now retail...
Yeah, I'm also not a fan of the changes to class, rogues should not be able to heal.
It’s been retail since day 1 brah
@@roguesdiarywhy not? Every other class can. 😂
Anyone knows if the healing from carnage rune scales with healing power like the warrior flask?
Love the ambience and voice, great style!
How much gold per run?
How are you healing from rupture and crimson tempest?
New runes in phase 4. This is PTR footage.

Hard to say since he has full world buffs, decent gear, all consumes, full 60 runes. Chances are no.
why u shuriken toss cant cd 30 sec?
the pull and kill takes more than 30 secs
