On top of an earlier whammy Mary hit, she got 3 of them in a row and struck (whammied) out at the end, giving Todd the win 15:33 - That’s 1 16:03 - That’s another 16:37 - That’s 3 and she’s out
I will admit, that is one contestant that was sure full of himself. I enjoy watching these shows however. During it's run I didn't get to see it much because back then I was working Monday through Friday. Those days are over with now however. Thanks 👍.
You aren't kidding! He was very excited after winning there after all of Mary's Whammies... especially after she lost all that money! Even with the cheaper board, the games were still competitive, especially with all the extra spins on the board (though by this point, they were trying to correct the problems plaguing the game due to having so many extra spins because 1983 eps. had so few extra spins, the games were kind of boring, requiring them to add tons of extra spins to the board, becoming a major issue by fall 1985) it required heavy edits to get the show in a 22 minute time frame.. putting $1500 in Square #15 was not a smart move, though.. thank goodness it was replaced with $750+A Spin within a few weeks..)
A $35K loss happened in SUmmer 1986, right after hitting $17,500 and DOuble your MOney and a Spin. The biggest Whammy loss, which may well be topped in 2019.
They didn't take the Move One Space or Pick a COrner gimmicks into account too well when changing the board. Pick a Corner early on, then again, had a Whammy as a choice in 1984
PICO T. QUINTOS: Speaking of "Press Your Luck" that I saw on U.S.A. Network, I was wondering how Todd (former studio player) went from $6,500 to $15,466 & why he would be accompanied by a girlfriend of his.
16:37 - Mary hits her fourth whammy which means that Todd you did it with $6,500 and three whammies. Wow! What a game!
Three in a row and she blew it.
16:37 Mary loses to Todd.

16:05 Todd wants Mary to hit a whammy, she got it.
6:17 12:02 12:35 13:10 15:37 16:07 these are the whammy animations that they should return to the new press your luck
@5:38 did I hear the whammy buzzer while Mary Hits the $300 square
Yes

Something tells me that Todd would have made the flashbacks if the show had lasted longer.

He celebrated after winning the game. Great comeback on Todd's part.
I don't think I've seen a contestant win with as much moment as Todd. Standing up, turning around, cheering, etc.
Good Lord, then thank God the show didn't continue. Obnoxious. That's the only one good factor it ended!
I wish Mary should passed the spin to Todd and he could be whammy out of game...and Sam and Mary could win with $0
Another episode with a full-of-himself contestant. Opportunist.
There was more money on the board in the first tapings in 1982 than was by this point in the run
But yet many more people nearly reached $20,000 on this board than in 1983
Randy and Robert did in the first two weeks of the show
There were no Press Your Luck tapings in 1982.
PYL debuted in 1983, not 1982
9/19/1994 is the episode airdate for SIlk Stalkings' season premiere, as per WIki
Man, Todd is a livewire! :D
Todd apparently found this video on Facebook in anticipation of the reboot!
Just wow!
Mary She’s Out At 16:37
Hey mbk1997 do you have episode 728 of press your luck I can't find it anywhere even on the internet
15:34 $19,870 loss! Also, Todd goes crazy over Mary hitting the whammy.

LOL 12:22 Why would you pick $500 over $1,500? That makes no sense!

One of the many reasons why the Round 2 board for the latter part of season 3 sucked.
Mary is out

In regards to across the board. It would be funny to put two of them across from one another. >=3
Jeremy Rivers Or set off a path all over the board that finally leads to a prize!
Mary is out of the game
Todd is crazy!
