This is really informative Sonal! Thank you for educating us. I will be looking at these tips the next time I go shoe shopping eventhough it will not be for these high end shoes, but I take it the same rules can and will apply to the less expensive shoe trade as well.

First of all, thank you for a very informative video. I just bought a pair of Pigalle Follies in patent nude 85mm heels two days ago from Neiman Marcus. I usually wear a 38 in CL shoes but I have to say they do indeed stretch. I do get slippage even with a heel pad so because of this, my Pigalle Follies are only 37.5. They feel very snug right now but I know they will stretch after a couple of wears. I don’t yet regret sizing a half size down but we’ll see. Pigalle Follies are very sexy shoes. They do show a lot of toe cleavage which I don’t mind at all. I think it’s what makes it sexy. The New Very Prive heels are my favorite amongst my CL shoes. I love love love them! I would recommend sizing down a half size tho (unless you have wide feet) they do stretch quite a bit.
I have 2 pair of So Kate’s and one pigalle follies I have a high arch but wide feet. I just keep wearing them and the pigalle follies are def more comfy but I have worn my so Kate’s shopping. I just love your videos!

Unfortunately I have a more wider feet so I know to stay away lol but I really wanted to have a Christian shoes as I love classic shoes... I bought a black veau velour fifetish 100 mn as it is a more round toe box... again keep up the good work...

thank you very much for this video its been helpful I have a natural arch and its high also I always thought of it as a sexy arch my feet look like its not in my shoe as well I don't see that a lot so thank you for sharing your report on that style of shoe.

Thank you Sonal, I am learning so much from your videos. Louboutin is not for me since the designer has admitted that he does not create shoes for comfort. I began watching your videos because of the Hermes Birkin Bag. Now I know the tricks on how to purchase one, I hope you are able to purchase one soon. Continued success with your channel !
Sonal you were right! I've had the orignal pigalle 120 for about 5 years now... and only managed to wear them once cuz of the height. Glad i have them cuz they are so rare.
I was so glad to see the follies as the shape is soo much sexier. I got my follies in a 100mm and bought the same size as my original pigalles (39) and the fit is perfect. And they are so comfortable (as comfortable as a louboutin can be of course!) I am a uk size 6 which converts to a european size 39. So for me, these fit true to size.
Just to note, i also have the Decollete 868 100mm in a size 6.5 and i can wear these for hours, i have always loved how the pitch of the shoe curves and follows ur arch.... the follies do this same thing. Literally hug ur foot.
So glad i took the plunge and bought them.... really want them in suede now!

I'm crying over here, as I can't wear any high heels. Love your entire shoe collection and I'm always is awe when I see you rocking those sky high heels ( or any woman for that matter). Mother nature wasn't kind to me, and gave me some wide feet 😁🐘😂. Well, Birkenstock's come at least in some very fashionable colours these days. I tried the Chanel slides ( loved the red coloured ones) but no such luck. To narrow 😫
This is such a helpful video! Sonal, what shoes would you recommend for a person buying or considering buying first designer shoes from louboution that are comfortable but yet, classic and stylish? I am really looking to maybe buy my first designer shoes. I am not a huge fan of designer shoes because I feel like I would have to take care of them so much more than taking care of bags. However, when it comes to handbags I am insane! I love handbags

I loved your video. Very informative and your voice is so nice on the ears. I want to get a pair of pigalle follies in patent leather. I have a high arch and normal width feet. Should I size up by half a size?. I own a pair of decollete 554 (now named Kate), that have similar shorter box to the pigalle follies. Also own a 39 of so Kate’s, which are good on the toe box but sometimes slip on the back. I cannot go to a store to try them since there’s none nearby. Always get them online. Thanks

Very good video! For me, the Breche is the best fit at 100mm. Pigalle Follies are good too but I can't walk in them for as long as in Breche. You should check out the breche, more walking friendly

Beautiful shoes. I have the regular Pigalles, and I can see now that they have a little bit of a thicker heel and not as much toe cleavage. But the ones I truly love, and are simply gorgeous, are the Irazas. But now you have tempted me to look into the Follies. I really liked the heel and the arch. I have feet with a high arch too.

Ahh great video! thank you! I want to get my very first pair of louboutins and i have been watching all video on you tube that review these shoes. But i want to ask you how did you manage to learn to walk in 100 mm. Are your feet not hurting after 30 mins? I tried the 100 mm shoes in the shop when i was looking for my wedding shoes and i could barely walk in front of the mirror. So i think i need to go for the pigalle 85mm (ill go for nude) . But i love how the 100 mm look on the foot and i am size 36 too - how did you do it? do you exercise, did you do a lot of stretching for many years?
That is actually very good to have a high arch that is why you can where a very high hell shoes mine is flat at it is difficult to walk in a very high heel dear so you’re lucky 👍🏼👏👏

Hello. I have a couple of CL shoes that have stretched and are a size bigger now, therefore, my heels are slipping off the shoes when I wear them. I’ve tried heel pads and things like that but nothing helped. I have not tried the gel insoles yet but I was wondering if you have any recommendations. I’m also thinking of taking my shoes to a cobbler and see if there’s maybe something that they can do. But anyway, I’d greatly appreciate if you have any advice I could try.
