I have a little advice because I've noticed that on different paper colors come out different. So to make sure I'm picking the color I want I got to a blank page or the front page I'm not going to colour on the book and test out the colours there because it's the same paper as the book I'm coloring so there no risk of picking the wrong colour.

They are Touchnew markers, you can get them in a set of 80 from amazon for around £30 sterling.

Always possible that they were... my eyesight isn't great!
