Probably not, you need camber and an aggressive roll to not rub if you want to be super low. I have 17x9 +35 with 235/40s and I almost rub in the front with -3 camber. Rears fit well though. you could probably do 17x9 with 245s and not rub in the rear.
Hey Blake, love the videos! I’m looking for pdf service manual downloads and I remember you talked about it just can’t remember on with video could you help.
Hey Blake, great video! I was wondering if you are still running max camber out front on the camber plates and also what did you go with for the rears in terms of spring situation? As the shocks are much shorter than the stock ones and plus when installing my maxpeeding coils in order to attach the shock I had to almost completely compress the spring. Thanks!
I didn’t have any issues with the rear length as the spring compress a lot and also I kept the rear ride height pretty low. Could be an issue if you any more height. You may want to remove the rubber things in the rear. Yes front is still fully cambered in.
The APEX wheels are some of the few that you can get a wide 17" wheel with good fitment for the E36. My wallet refuses to fill up with enough money to buy them but the other options that I like are twice the price, BBS 2 or 3 piece ;)
@@BlakesGarage so essentially 17x9.5+30 up front and 17x9.5 +35 in back. If so this just helped me out a lot. I have some 3rd generation corvette sawblades that i am getting rebored to 72.56. But the offset is +55 and been trying to figure out what size spacers to get. Now i know 30 or 25mm squared should be perfect. FYI 96’ 328i SDN
Yep, I also cut out the full rear lip for clearance or you can roll it but cutting is easier as there's a ton of seam sealer on the inside of the lips.
We’re spacers required ? How does the camber look ?
Is all you have camber or are the fenders rolled? I have an e36 and was wondering if I could got 17x8.5 apex wheels on stock everything w/o rubbing
Only thing you will need is 5mm front spacer, other than that, direct fit with no hassle
What size tires were you running on this video?
I just bought a 94 325i vert as my first project car, and wanted to ask would these exact wheel specs would fit my car without rubbing?

Bruh I wish you did more vids with your e30, like installing the plastic bumpers

These look so good!
Thanks Tommy!!
Southwest Tires is the best. Great choice, I have the Et30s on mine.
Such a bummer it isnt a coupe, thing is mintyyyy
You can’t be picky when it’s free. I’ll probably get a hardtop for it eventually.
Are you running spacers on rear
Nope just 5mm up front
