Why are people so obsessed with young idols in the industry, it's insane. They just wanna abuse children and being born in 2001 is so young, she's literally 22/23

I'm tired of hearing people complain about minors being debuted but y'all eat their music up every time. And then when a group actual with people of legal age debuts, y'all act like it's the worst thing in the world and call them old even if they're not in their 30s. Let’s chill out on calling adult women pushing 30 “young as hell.” You’re also completely ignoring the fact that youth does play a major equation to beauty in the beauty scene, which then leads to attraction, whether that is modelling or kpop.

#1 The song is okay melody-wise. V’s vocal flavor or style of singing just isn’t my cup of tea. It sometimes sounds like he’s slurring or mumbling words - sometimes the lyrics that he is singing aren’t clear because of a lack of enunciation, which is exacerbated when he sings in English. In Truth Untold, there’s a stark difference in enunciation when V sings the opening line, followed by JK, Jin, and Jimin. Perhaps it’s just me (as a former choir singer), but poor enunciation in songs peeves me (shouldn’t be a surprise that I’m decidedly NOT a fan of mumble rap)
They have the money to produce better music so why release something like this
@@eli7997 I’m sure some people really like it, and this type of song seems to fall in line with the style of music that he wants to make (based on his solo projects). And I’m happy for them if they enjoy it. For me, it’s just okay; not a song i will add to any playlist

V music is neither my cup of tea but more because even if from time to time I can enjoy jazz and balads I am more into rock sounds.
I have not even listened his new song because layover even if it nice to listening in the background just do not resonate with me.
@@eli7997Music is at the end of day about taste. The best is a little questionable given that music is subjective in a way. A simple example, I disslike the Beatles even if they are iconics, their music is bland and forgeteable to me but I love Queen and even till now I bought their cds.
I think it's just based on preference in music. I agree that V's Fri(end)s is mediocre to me but I think his solo album songs are so good to the point that I surprised myself that out of BTS members, his solo album is my favourite despite having Jimin as a bias. And I have to point out that V's English pronunciation really need some works if compared to Jungkook. I usually ignore it because lots of Kpop singers has thick accent when pronounce English word but sometimes it bothers me. But it also makes me realise and appreciate how hard Jungkook practice his English pronunciation.
Same i don't get ir everyone hace their own preferences in music i like his layover and i've always noticed he never tries to change his genre for anyone else like that makes his solo songs more unique like stigma ,winter bear ,sweet night are my fav
The problem with V's solo music is just he lacks vocal techniques. I don't even know if there was an ounce of vibrato in his songs. His songs are like 99% straight tone and that makes the music so bland. And the heavy muffled autotune is just so jarring.
It’s because bts haven’t taken the time to be vocally trained and honestly it’s terrible in my opinion that they have gotten so popular but haven’t decided to make themselves better as artists it’s annoying because i used to love bts but it’s hard to really care for them when other groups more talented vocalists and don’t even get the time of day
@@eli7997 yeah, I'm not gonna lie, I kinda lost interest in BTS after a while because it's clear that their most talented singer is Jungkook. But the rapline is still one of the best in kpop and I really enjoy some of their songs sometimes

A lot of people said tae lost his voice etc. but for me personally, he FOUND his voice and his song thru solo era. When he in BTS, he oftenly sang the high pitch song that nit really fit to his natural timbre and tone. But in Layover his soulful sound come back. Also, you all better see his live vocal rather than the recorded one especially people who said his song is bland. You can hear more dynamic in his live. I think is just because companies producer who use pop-music approach to his album that made the sound perfecten in stright line. I hate that kind of approach too. Also i'm so sorry but he is top 2 in term of BTS Vocal, i think he practiced a lot in solo era, his live vocal is perfect.

People just want to hate just to hate. Someone said the BTS vocalists got not training and sing the same way in their songs. What??? Why can’t people admit to not having seen most of their live vocal performances. Or that they haven’t heard all of the albums? Vs techniques and cadences and vocals have been so dynamic over the years, and the other members too. Just say you don’t like the new song, that’s fine. But the rest of the stuff is just nonsense or hypocritical or straight cherry-picking. They are all BEASTS in live vocals. And track vocals. And a lot of these haters’ favorite artists use auto tune either very subtly or heavily as well but excuse it…since they aren’t on top. Yawn. Punching up without even realizing they’re still punching down.

There's literally only 30-45s of autotune in SMF2 and that too as a stylistic tool, the song wouldn't hit as hard as it did without the distortion that was created by the autotune. The autotuned part represents his inner voice, it was used to create a back and forth effect. Literally professional producers says that it was used perfectly, but that don't mean that you or someone doesn't prefer that have to like it but even listen to it. You don't but don't be hating for the sake hating. Acting like the autotune is there for no reason. Atleast try to see and acknowledge the artist's intention and then if you don't like it, that's fine too. Then that song is not for you.

Right on regarding older idols. I'm really hopeful that Kpop will evolve where minors are the exception, rather than the norm, and trainees can get some life experience and education before debuting at 19 or 20. A well trained 22 year old idol should be able to mop the floor with any 15 year old trainee. 🤞

I am still pretty new to Kpop and based on social media stuff, I always viewed Jennie in a negative-ish light. She came off really entitled/mean. However, when I watched Apartment 404 for Yeonjun -- it really changed my view of Jennie. She's completely different from what I thought, the entire episode. Those who bashing BTS for Vocals. They should go listen every single encore of them since 2013 with Mr remove. Currently Jimin V's vocals lacking due to they trying new vocals technique. It doesn't suit to their voice. I don't why they giving extremely low and girly like voice technique to Jimin in set me Free and vibe song. People should listen fliter and friends song of v and jimin. Even V and jin ost.
BTS v has deep voice. I really love his voice in dna and blood sweat tear. Even singularity. But his current songs are not my cup of tea. Company should work on him.

I really like R&B and think that V’s songs have potential. But he needs to work on his interpretation of the songs overall. Because so far it’s very mid. A lot of less famous K-pop singers have a way better interpretation of their songs.
He released it just for the fun of it it's really not that deep he was in military and thought his fans would like something from him go listen to layover if you want something deep
I think Fri(ends) suits V's vocals, but the song and video present a number of issues. Firstly, only singing in English is a mistake because his English is not good enough to carry a full song. It comes across as though he is slurring or mumbling his words but both his pronunciation and enunciation are the issue here. Then the song feels half realised like someone was on to something when writing it, but couldn't find maybe another 1-2 verses and a chorus or stop it from all being one note. Lastly, the video is style over substance, a bit off putting and doesn't showcase the song that well considering it's more about being in the friendzone than lust as the video suggests. It's not a bad song, just not fully realised at all.
Being honest i really like v's music its my vibe . I am not a music expert so i don't much . I find v's music very relaxing.

True about V's "Friends", but his previous solo work was a little better, eg the vocal production was a lot worse here. That BTS arent the best singers except for Jungkook is usually agreed, except for the most stubborn fans. The vocal production and overall quality of the songs isn't their own fault though, it seems to be connected to the people they bring in for the English songs, they are often worse in every regard. It's a trend that BTS' English songs started, Hybe is doing the same for other artists and other companies are doing the same.
Friends definitely isn't mediocre, it's just more on the softer side with V's baretone adding a soft touch to it. It may be boring for the typical kpop fans cuz they're used to more upbeat songs with crazy beats, even the ballads have a pop-like beat so it's just a difference in taste.
V's album & his solo songs express his taste in music & I really like it.
The problem with you guys is you listen to a mediocre song from kpop and label it fantastic and would listen again. But with BTS, you label a mediocre song from them as "omg this is their worst work and they should disband because theyre sell outs". The hypocrisy is insane

I dont care if a group could sing like literal angels perfectly. If theyre attitudes suck ill hate everything created by them because I'd know it was all based around BS. In order to create a better output the singer needs to be a writer and should have a little production talent too. RM , Suga , jhope are the pillers of BTS. Because of their production talent were BTS succeed this much.Other than jungkook , no one in BTS vocal line can execute the songs in english as effectively. Even though he lacks in speaking english, his pronunciation during singing is pretty good. His new new releases , live show , live performance will not disappoint us.Jimin and V need to have vocal lessons. I think jimin already lost his voice,bro is struggling a lot. I used to love his voice in old days. But due to improper vocal techniques he kind of lost his voice. V need to understand the songs that suits his style. His album and new releases honestly sucks. Besides Jungkook and the rap line, it's hard to see anyone else in BTS succeeding as a solo artist.

1. Just because we don't like the style of music V is going for doesn't make it boring. Yes, his solo songs aren't my cup of tea either but a lot of people like that kinda songs. So, stop calling his jusic boring.
2. The songs Vcha release are easy to listen to and are addictive. That's the point. With the way we are getting so many "unique" songs in kpop nowadays, I think it's necessary that we get some simple but good songs. Just because the song doesn't have a crazy instrumental, beat switch up or a powerful dance break doesn't make it boring. In my opinion, only one is the perfect pop song.
