"Can we please play the intro" puts a stupid smile on my face every time. Was interesting to see you use TNT to blow out your custom river tunnel through the mountain. What you said about how projects that you think won't take too long always seem to take far longer than expected resonated with me as I find exactly the same when I do tasks. Agree with what you said about your river tunnel turning out better than expected. Once you'd widened it and filled it with water the river looked rather good and I found that, contrary to what I would have expected, I really liked the low ceiling of the tunnel. I guess it fits with the lore of the area, with the river slowly carving out the tunnel - it would only carve out to its surface area and then deepen, not cut upward. You did say you won't be adding in details to the river? no sea grass or sea pickles or gravel riverbed, etc? What about a few varying sizes of stalagtites with a water block above so water drips down from the ceiling of the tunnel? It's been my experience that chunk borders running through anything, either redstone or farms with animals, can cause problems. As you move about your world inevitably at some times one of the two chunks will be loaded while its neighbour is unloaded. That can break or stop redstone. It can also be a big problem for any farms relying on minecarts to collect items, as it'll eventually cause the cart to stop moving. 22:29 Glad you felt inspired to build a statue. You explain how it took you a lot of building and rebuilding, but the end result is definitely worth it. The statues look amazing, facing each other and guarding the entrance to your valuables. You said you enjoyed the process of adding details to your build. Is that because you find it relaxing or is it because you find the end result makes the whole project look so much better? Detailing is not natural for me, I struggle with it and it is difficult, but I find the end result always improves everything.
Wow! Long comment! Can you imagine me sitting at my desk during the build up for "Can we please play the intro!"? I think I will raise the ceiling of the river tunnel, but not too much maybe? Over time I am planning to add more details to it such as the seagrass. I don't know why detailing is so fun to me. It is relaxong indeed but I can't put my finger on it why exactly. I think in part it is because I feel like there are so many options to play around with. It's like going to a store and carefully picking out the things you want. Thank you for your comment! Appreciate i
