Ther's no other band like Green Day for me, everytime I watch their lives I smile for al the concert, they have such a kind of energy that no others band has!
I grew up with the Green Day of the 90s and I don't care what they do now, my love for them will never stop!

I was there all three days. It was one of the most magical, fantastic experiences of my life. It was a complete loss-of-sleep, anarchic mess, with barrels full of crazy all around... and it was completely awesome. I slept for two days after I finally got back home. Green Day was fantastic, as always. And look how young they look here! I thought they hadn't changed, but I guess we all have!
I was here..What a great time i had at woodstock 94..I was in front of the stage towards the right..I did a stage dive lol..My 6 yr old daughter and i are watching this now and she is cracking up..

The memories this brings back...this was the first time I had heard of this band and fell in love. Still my favorite band to this day...especially when I go for a run. I am so glad I got to experience this in person.

I was there. I wish they'd show the crowd more so I could find myself, but I remember seein these guys. I just didn't really realize who they were at the time. Fun time, but it did rain a lot. I thought it was fitting, it reminded me of the original '69 videos i'd seen. I remember thinkin it was cool that since I had missed the original, at least I was young enough to enjoy the encore. I was 24 at the time. Helluva ride from Bluefield, WV to Saugerties, NY and back.
A record no one has? I still listen to Kerplunk every day.

and Milwaukee in June of '01; Billie convinced a kid to dive out of the balcony into the crowd to be passed up to the stage to play guitar for "Knowledge". One of the best shows I've seen. It was the second time they hit Wisconsin in 6 months and it was basically anything goes; they took requests and played obscure songs that don't normally make their set list. The next night in Minneapolis they tried to have a kid jump from the balcony again but were denied by security.

he has several "blue" guitars. He doesnt use the original one anymore because he doesnt want it to get broken. his dad gave it to him so its very special. He hasn't used it live for a very long time
It's crazy for me to think that green day, who are still my favorite band today, were playing epic gigs like this in the year I was born! And they're still releasing albums now! I like all they're albums, everything from this right up to the new stuff, green day rock!

Was an unbelievable 3 days there.. I had been 21 for only 3 mos so i was in the party prime of my life and this was the biggest party in the world!! I remember after this show, throwing sod became the norm at alot of concerts

if you really want to see the true spirit of green day, then you came to the right place
Notice 3/4 of their security is under a plastic tarp for most of their performance, leaving only a few guys to guard the stage. Considering how rowdy the crowd was, it was a miracle the stage wasn't overtaken. This Green Day show was the best of the whole WS-94' event! Billy Joe was fkn Genius!!!

BRUTAL!!
I was behind the stage and then went upfront to see what was going on and then the hay and mud started flying! It was crazy! It looked like a wave of mudballs! I thought it was one of the coolest things I had even seen at a concert. It felt dangerous but somehow freeing and different. I walked backstage again to watch the choas and then that's when I heard Mike scream out "I think he broke my f@#king jaw! etc. etc" It was my first time seeing Green Day and I've been a fan since!
I've been looking for that look at the punk rocker line ever since I heard Bomb The Music Industry!
The performance was fucking epic but Mike's dialoge inbetween is priceless.
