We just tried visiting the sanctuary via elephantjoy and it was very unprofessional and they directed us to elephant village (hathi gaon) where they were offering us rides etc. we left the village feeling sad and devastated.
Extremely horrible experience. My son and mom and I were harassed by the owner. On receiving payment from me, he immediately started harassing and refused to even refund. He uses foul language and is quite a scary person to be honest
Elephants are friendly animal that thrive from interaction with others both human and other animals. This was such a safe environment for all involved and if they watched along you would have heard the amazing story of the family and sanctuary
every creature works for living including humans. if human rides an elephant for couple of minutes to take a photo or video it is no harm. elephants are by far strongest land animal on earth. if those elephants were in the wild they had to do lot more hard work for living.
