Un documentaire de Clément Horvath, auteur de "Till Victory : lettres du Jour J à la victoire", livre dans lequel cette histoire est relatée (Editions Ouest-France, 2020).
[EN] A movie about the first encounter, on June 6, 1944, between little Thérèse Robert (5 years old) and Daniel Lyons (6th Airborne Division), one of the first paratroopers of D-Day... and their reunion 75 years later! A documentary by Clément Horvath, author of "Till Victory: the Second World War by those who were there" (Pen & Sword Books, 2020). This story is told in the Tome 2, for now only available in France.

Merci à Clément et Nathalie pour ce document. J'ai eu la chance de partager quelques heures avec Daniel. Merci à lui et ses camarades pour leur dévouement qui faire de nous des enfants et petits enfants libres. J'ai toujours des frissons à retourner voir la maison d'enfance de mon papa. Mes enfants connaissent cette histoire aussi et ont pour mission de faire vivre la mémoire.

Mr Horvath might have Hungarian roots.
Yes I have! My grandfather went through both the fascist regime and the liberation by the Red Army, when he was forced to dig graves for Soviet soldiers at the age of 13... Then he left Hungary for France around the time of the uprising in Budapest! I visited the country two years ago with my family, would love to go back there!
