Part of me wants a sequel, but another part of me is scared that it would be badly made and unnecessary. Urgh. Such an amazing movie. Problem is is also getting the sequel. Well, I just hope if they ever did it would be beyond amazing.
Rogard - Are you MAD, Mansley? All units stand down! Rogard to Nautilus, come in Nautilus. “This is Nautilus standing by.” Kent - LAUNCH THE MISSILE *NOW!*
Just realized after watching this how much brad bird brought to pixar style wise. The general character remnds me (facially) as the secret agent guy from The Incredibles.

@A113Pixar He's not considering a prequel, but in answer to frequent fan inquiries about a sequel he has said a prequel/origin story would be his preference. Not that he has one written. How could he do it without Pixar? The same way he's doing a Tom Cruise movie without Pixar... people with money buy a property and hire Brad Bird away from Pixar to direct it. Absent someone with money, Brad Bird has many other things to occupy himself so it's not going to happen.
yea..but i would if i knew it wouldnt suck like most of cheap sequels...hmm the only sequel i remember currently being close to original quality wise was lion king 2 and 1.5...although i preferred 2 from those sequels. 1.5 was more of pure comedy, which i have nothing against unless most of animated stuff are comedies. i miss epic stuff and Hans zimmer's music in disney : P

Making it “super hero” type would be even more cool, somebody drew a fan-made drawing of an older Hogarth and the Giant as Super-Heroes.
Brad Bird deserves so much more credit than he gets for this movie.
Singing & stuff I agree he did a great job on this movie . Pete Townsend deserves it to for helping brad bird with this movie
And so does Brother Bear.
Both this movie and it should never have failed & been forgotten about.
this is such a beautiful and deep movie. one of few i wish there was a sequel of (a good one, not cheap dvd quality.)

That's exactly who Mansley reminds me of 😂

Kent Mansley: What ooh we can Duck and Cover there’s a fallout shelter right there!
I wish this was a rough pencil test, but its not. This is final line. Seeing the whole movie in actual rough animation would be amazing.

Oh, I get it.
He looks like Rick Dicker.

A wonderful and totally underrated movie
Brad Bird has said he thought a "prequel" might be an interesting idea. A movie the looks into where the hell the robot came from.
If they did make a sequel, super-heroes clearly need to be involved.
Besides, Brad Bird created the Incredibles.
all i want to know is, HOW do they keep the proportions so perfect throughout??
It’s called skills!😊
by using the last frame as reference

Rogard - What are you saying, he's friendly?
Dean - Yes! Attacking him is triggering a defense mechanism.
Kent: Don’t listen general, destroy the monster while we still have the chance!
"Screw our country, I wanna live!"
LOL
ah yes the late 90's, back when children's cartoons were good
They still were in the 2000’s, but only when Disney was around.
Like 2003’s Brother Bear.
I just realized what he said at 0:20 got slightly edited/cut in the final film
LAUNCH THE MISSLE NOW!!
That missile is targeted to the giant's CURRENT POSITION!

Why does the date change every frame?
There’s no way they did all that in several days.
Movies take months, if not years to create.

Interesting how they borrowed music from the Titanic (1997) score, which can be heard starting at 0:11. Worked surprisingly well.

the acting is good but the generals voice is not as good as the finished version
That's why it's rough
His face at 1:03 should have been in the film, because it fitted what he was saying
Hey Sue I was wondering if there was any way i could possibly contact you and ask about something
