She had a pristine and egoless seeming voice of limpid purity. No other rendition of this is even close to the 17 year old Patricia.

+skunksrus007 I believe Jackie Evancho possesses the most beautiful voice in the world and she has only just turned 16 last month. Her Mezzo tone and timbre are rare for a Soprano voice and her vibrato is simply unbeatable.
Having said all that, I have followed Patricia Janeckova since she won Talentmania at age 12(Jackie was 10) and both of these precocious babies have come so far so fast it is really incredible what they have achieved.
I believe Patricia is the next great Soprano superstar of this century. Her performance of Meine Lippen recently was absolutely phenomenal. The equal of Anna Netrebko in every respect.

Certainly agree with that but sadly her vibrato is dire - far far far too slow. It is more of a warble - like Callas at her end of life.
this was impressive & knowing pj, she only did one take of the song; not technically perfect but charged with emotion because patricia dedicated this to the people who had died at the bataclan in france a week or so earlier; i believe it was entitled 'song for paris'! patricia was still only 17 when she recorded this.
With so much pandemic and regrowth of it, sometimes I think that we are near the end of the times that the Bible announces, but listening to Patricia sing I can dream that tomorrow the sun will rise again

A beautiful song by a beautiful girl, both inside and out, in honor of Paris and France. My Dad was shot down over France during World War II, and he and his crew were able to evade by the sacrifices of many beautiful and heroic people that helped him along the way. I have been somewhat critical of Patricia in respect of her performances of Once upon a time in the West, and stand by those historical remarks, as I have yet to hear her sing OUATITW in 2020.
I clicked on this Ave Maria clip having just discovered Helena Fischer sing it on UA-cam. I was curious to see how Patricia compared.
A completely different tune to the more traditional version uniquely owned by Celine, but, WOW, this is STUNNING by Patricia, and I must not forget her age.
Listening to this, I feel Patricia has progressed enormously. Her troublesome breathing technique of her younger days has been perfected, and she also now has the physical strength and lung capacity to see out the required long notes which she failed with in the past.
This version is just beautiful and I feel that Patricia has truly arrived at her peak level, which we shall all enjoy, going forward.
I cannot wait for her to perform OUATITW from 2020 onward.

And Patricia's hommage to the victims is still heartbreaking.
Beautiful to see how she is growing, physic, I mean. Here she uses her mouth quite different than now-days, singing high notes. And at 13, she had to work even more with her mouth to get them out, then her eyes turned upwards as well. Now, in 2021, her scull has the shape to make the high notes without stress.
@@robbiwouters Very good observations. It was indeed amusing when she was singing the Batti Batti, if memory serves, and her eyes were looking North West with the verry high notes. A recent performance which I think epitomizes her progress is the Quel Guardo wearing her winter coat in the unheated chapel. This is high end Italian Bel Canto. For all her Mozartian prowesses, Patricia allways said Bel Canto was her thing. Patricia knows what she wants, and does the work to get there.
Fascinating how we can follow her in details like this with modern technologie.
She does exist as much today as a good ten years back.
You are right, Patricia takes her path to where she wants to go, is not interested in what so many want her to do i.e. touring the world and such. Clever girl.
