Let’s see a Wyndham Clark swing analysis. One of my favorite swings

Looks to me like stands to close to the ball at address, which is why he jumps back towards impact?

Rory next? Rory as of late has been looking really good.

Almost looks like he’s flipping the club coming into impact. His shaft lean at impact is more a function of his body moving ahead of the ball. His lead/left wrist is not nearly bowed at impact. It looks less pronated at impact than at address.

Bottom line: don’t try to copy his swing. BUT do pay attention to his footwork, because you can see the weight transfer that all good players have. If most amateurs can get that right, they can improve their ballstriking no matter what is happening with their upper body.

Coaches around the world tearing this swing apart? Tearing the best ball striker on the planet down? Maybe they need to rethink their coaching philosophy.

I agree! It’s an amazing action and his coaches have done a great job just letting Scottie be Scottie!
