OK so I have 3 things:
1. Not adding UI Sign feels weird
2. Full Power Jiren is missing even though we kinda need him for that big battle at the end of the ToP
3. I think Daima will be DLC. If the game releases at the end of this year or the start of next year then I doubt they'll have that stuff ready

@@grammeland1 Dude what dont yall get about this? BT3 doesn't work by what characters "need" to be in the. It just adds the most cool and random playable characters who you can't play as elsewhere. If bergamo is gonna be in thi game, then his brothers should be too, especially if they want to have the ToP exhibition matches included in the story mode.

Removing "Trunks with Sword" is a diabolical choice that is completely incomprehensible

He's no skin for the dbs incarnation, like many thought he would be.
They would make bardock have super saiyan because he has it in every game
It isn't in any of the Tenkaichi or Raging Blast games

that's because it didn't exist when those games were made. Bardock got super saiyan in 2011 and first appeared as a super saiyan in ultimate tenkaichi and battle of z. Every game afterwards has had super saiyan bardock. With xenoverse going further and giving him 2 and 3@@MetalGames95

Imagine retaining the 3 Gokus Z and 2 Vegetas Z differentiation from Tenkaichi 3 (where the most they change design wise is the main outfit of only one of them).
But then making one whole character out of 2 iterations of Trunks that not only are from 2 totally separated sagas, but also feature a different *hair color* on top of a different color scheme.
And this when the non sword variant from the second half of the Android Saga was already confirmed to return.

@@finley931717 Z and 17 Super really don’t need to be two separate characters. I get why they have different versions of Goku and Vegeta because they have different transformations. But 17s only change is his outfit. So hopefully there’s just one 17, as well as one 18, with costumes for Z, Buu Saga for 18 and Super

the intense amount of detail and overanalyzing, down to the placements on the grid... this is why I revisit these videos whenever the games actually come out. 10/10 never change, globku, never change

The fact we can play as giants again makes me happy what I may think will happen is that selecting a character will probably bring up a menu so you can choose what version you want just like bt3 did

I like both transformations but I think SSBE is more of a priority than SSJ rage. SSJ rage doesn't have a manga counterpart while at least SSBE has Perfected SSB in the manga. Plus SSBE makes more sense and is basically a viable version of super vegeta, which i do like

I personally don't understand how they cam waste character slots on different transformations of the same character when it's already been shown that character can transform in game...
It's just a picture on the screen. If they weren't separate slots you'd just have a smaller select screen, not more characters.
@@dustinjames6662and yet people are just gonna go insane over it screaming "LOOK AT ALL THESE CHARACTERS" when there's like 10 gokus and vegetas, and if we keep going like this then 5 broly slots (3 from Z, 2 from the super movie), 2 nappa, 2 raditz and basically 2 of every non-super saiyan character for the great ape transformation, 3-4 cells (based on if they put his post-explosion form or not), 6 or more freezas (his 5 original forms along with golden freeza, and possibly mecha freeza), 3 coolers, and these are just my guesses, there will probably be a lot more transformations for other characters.
I'd rather have a smaller more organized roster than whatever the fuck this mess is, they already had the perfect formula with BT3 (choose a character, then choose a transformation, this simple), keep in mind that I love having all the characters' transformations, especially with how freeza's second and third form along with cell's first and second form have been getting ignored for too long, but they could have done a much better job than this, I'm really worried about this game, the gameplay looks amazing and that's the main factor for me but I really hope it delivers
Now with so many base game characters their only choice for dlc is Daima and the super manga. Imagine we get UE vegeta

With that said I still think characters like Trunks Sword/SSJ (Z), King Cold and Mecha Frieza, Dabura and Evil Buu gotta make it into the game.
And even Cui, Spopovich and a random Frieza soldier.
The thing is we don't know if they'll add GT, Movies or Super after Broly yet. That's what fucks most tierlists usually.
I feel some movie characters has to be in the base roster. Cooler, his transformations and metal cooler. Broly with his transformations. Final form Janemba. The other movie characters dont nessasirly need to be in the base roster, but a dlc for just movie characters sounds good.

dont get me wrong it is a Giant roster but only 3 Characters more from BT3(and with Super taking alot more priorities than all the others there is no way to fit all of it)

UI Goku might be a separate character, especially if they include the Gornolah arc forms. Might be DLC though.
i don't think they would put the manga characters in base game, even games like SDBH doesn't have manga characters yet (no Ultra Ego, Granolah, or even Moro) so I doubt that Sparking Zero would be the first to have manga characters
@@randomvg00 even then, the best Heroes can do are manga techniques. SDBH has an SS Blue Goku unit that can use Hakai
They will (and ofc makes sense) NEVER put manga characters in until they get animated. Til that day comes, no DBZ game let alone this will get Moro or Granola sadly. It’s been years too funny enough since post ToP and not a single game including both console, arcade and mobile has em.
Aside animation references for choreo purposes and voice actors, I guess for also spoiler purposes?? Not everyone reads manga! Can’t wait til Ego reaches games tho ⚡️

@@WrongKristoff i won't say never, i just don't think they would do it in base game, if they wanted to introduce the manga story into the casual fans Sparking Zero would be the best game to do it, FighterZ have more FGC fans playing it rather than casual Dragon Ball fans so it might not be the best place to put it first, Kakarot is a DBZ game not a DBS game (both BoG and RoF is a DBZ movie), mobile gacha game while have good reach doesn't get the news coverage like console game would, and arcade games like SDBH is JP only so it only have reach for JP fans

Honestly I really appreciate how much effort you put into this kind of videos. You don't just say "Bob and George main roster, John Dlc" but you outright make the effort of editing in a way that it looks like the actual selection screen
GLad to see somone understanding how the roster works, although, one thing u mightve missed is that every "transformation" touches the base form of that character ( example; as much as i was hoping Majin Vegeta wouldve been a transformation, this is how i saw that he probably is a standalone character since he is not touching his base form on the list) but tbh u pretty much nailed it, just frieza needs to trade places with his second form :)
I was screaming at the spaces he filled up around Jiren when he missed out Full Power
A lot of great predictions and though it is hard to fit everyone in for the base I feel we will also get Goku (Ultra Instinct -Sign-), Jiren (Full Power), some Frieza lackies (Appule, Raspberry etc.) plus possibly Cui. Frost I feel will get in as well.
Some who I feel have a chance but are not high priority would be the likes of Mecha Frieza, King Cold, King Vegeta, Champa and Vados.
I feel for Daima it will be DLC with most for the base game being Goku (Daima) as a secret unlockable or day one pre-order bonus.
I would had originally said we'll get some movie and GT characters in base but there really isn't space once it all starts to add up, maybe 1 or 2 from each at most before DLC.
Would also love to see Android 21 and some Heroes characters down the line. A21 is in most DB games these days so she'll likely get in eventually.
And Trunks Sword (Z), I can't believe he actually left him out. He's so important for the Cell saga and his ultimate is too iconic to remove it from the game imo.

The next trailer is supposedly power vs speed which could show GT Goku vs Nuova shenron since their battle was depicted as such. Atleast until goku showed that he was just holding back when eis came around and pissed him off.
I think gt and the movies will make it. I think there are a couple of redundant forms that could be replaced by being turned into techniques or outfits to make some more room for gt and the movies

This might be the wrong place to complain about this. But Moro never being a playable character because it’ll never be in anime is just criminal. He’s my favourite new character by far, the most original and interesting villain in a long time for me

nice to know after the newest trailer that the first rule is just not true. In the most current reveal dyspo is a couple of spaces away from the og series area, hit is touching saiyan saga vegeta, roshi and beerus are practically side by side, toppo is right between cell saga goku and future trunks and android 17 is on the opposite side of the board to android 18

After watching the Sparking Zero Trailer again, before you start to fight, you see both players characters fight each other like the Burst Limit battle start animation which i think is kinda cool
It would be really cool that during his trailer reactions and/or his analysis that he changes this to match what is shown in the trailers. Also when the game comes out to see him compare the roster to his predictions

Your roster looks solid, hopefully it can come to pass. My biggest hope is that we get some collab characters as DLC like Xeno Trunks, Ace (XV), Beat (SDBH), or Android 21 sometime down the line.
Would be honestly a cool idea if for Goku and Vegeta that they have alternates that you can switch out the forms and put the ones you want.

Great vídeo! I created my own predict as well but I'm not 100% on it either, but I gotta say that your roster is wrong for a few details that are confirmed:
1- The Frieza that is confirmed in the roster is actually the Frieza(Super), you can check it on official website:
2- Goku and Vegeta will only have 3 transformations cause the 4th one is usually for a fusion character, frieza doesn't fuse and that is why he has 4 forms.
3- Cui is in the game, it was even mentioned in the scans about the game that Vegeta has an attack that he used on Cui, they are gonna keep him from BT3.
4- Nappa and Raditz are missing their great ape forms
5- Bergamo most likely will have his giant form next to him since they do need to have a lot of characters with giant forms to make giant battles interesting as well
Now here is the things I THINK you missed and I think are gonna be in the game or going to happen:
1- MUI is gonna be a different character most likely and will have Sign as base and MUI as transformation and maybe even a giant "susanoo" form thing from the manga just so he can be used against giants as well, this would be a great DLC as well but idk.
2- Jiren Full Power is missing there
3- Super Hero is gonna be DLC for max profit, unless they expand the roster size which could still happen for all we know
4- GT is gonna be DLC as well tbh. Again they could expand the roster size and surprise us.
5- Champa, Vados, Kaioshin, Great Saiyaman 2, Frost, Mai, I think these would be all really cool characters to add so the story mode is more complete and has more variety of characters
Personally I hope the roster size is bigger cause this cannot hold even all characters from BT3 there so yeah, great predict tho, left these here so you can as well let me know what you think! Keep up the great job! :D
Great video, the only characters that I don't actually see it making it unfortunately is gt and Arale, Arale is due to licences issues which is the same reason Arale doesn't show up in dragon ball games anymore (legends and Dokkan). Dokkan has some Arale cards but it's from old age Dokkan, the same Dokkan that has a Doflamingo from One piece

Man, everything was so nicely done, I honestly barely have any nitpicks. But for super trunks, he only has SS1 and SS-Rage. He has SS2. But honestly spots were filling up with a lot of good characters, so I don’t blame u if you forget.
I can see them do something like costumes for characters like super trunks. So that you can have both z and super trunks. Same with tien. Him having the super clothes and the green z pants

I agree on the most part, you tend to think like the creators of the original game, although one thing I believe they will finally include is teen Goten and Trunks from DB Super

I think I agree with most of the roster here. GT could make it in but is also likely to be dlc, same with the DBZ movies and Diama, characters from bardock plus recent super character that are only in manga, until anime version gets made for the rest of super.
