Awesome! Thank you! Get ready for a LOT of that! I try to incorporate music in all of my videos and it's always in a vibe that is appropriate for a 50's classic American Hot Rod!
Bill, great job on the videos and the opportunity for all of us watching to gain insight on how to tackle different aspects of the car restoration. I’m catching up on your videos but really appreciate your efforts and sharing. I have a 56 I have just started restoring first ever. I started with the chassis and have welded in a four link and using coil overs. Being a first time builder your videos give me the inspiration to keep moving forward even though there are a lot of parts of the restoration I’m just being introduced to. Thanks again keep up the great work and I can’t wait to see the finished Christine.
Thanks for the vote of approval! A lot of what I'm doing will be applicable to your build, but I'm not planning on modifying the chassis. So, your 4-link and coil-overs is something that I'm not tackling. Rat Rod Bob Builds has an EXCELLENT video on designing a 4-link suspension, but it would be worthwhile to check out even if you're building from a kit. I've always found that it's good to know the WHY and that will help keep you out of trouble! Stay tuned for more!
Great stuff Bill. I'm doing the same thing on a 1957 Chevy 2 Dr. Post 150 Series. My who life all I've seen were BelAir or nothing, time to give the 150's some loven. lol I'm building a Gassor with a Blown 383 Stroker. Keep the videos coming, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Thanks, and good luck with the 150! Those can really stand out because they don't have the common trim along the tail fin. Two-tone on the 57 150 can really look great!
Awesome repair of that door. Just when I started to think that the inner door bottom was actually a great fit I saw you had to modify it to fit right. 🙁
It takes a certain mindset to decide to NOT be finished when you really, really want to be! Take another day to get it RIGHT and the end result is better!
Ok, all caught up Bill. Ready for the next one. Not sure of your method for installing the full floor, or you might have it done already, but just in case, I will pass on a suggestion to check out DD Speed shops latest nomad. He has done several floors like this. some of his earlier floors might be even better, but they are still the same basic floor and method. (you have probably already seen his stuff, but good info if you don't have it)
Bill after the inside door repairs, did you add that small rail which attaches the bottom of your door panel...You did mention that replacement did not include that important piece
Bill can I explain why most AFTERMARKET PARTS do not fit. Unless your company enters into agreement with say Xxx Auto company, your parts CANNOT BE PERFECT REPLACEMENT PARTS. If you made perfect replacement parts without Xxx company approval you will be in court of COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT. So all parts are purposely made with flaws to keep them out of jail...CLOSE BUT NOT EXACT..
I am working my way through your videos because I am getting ready for a similar restore. Lots of body work. I LOVE THE BLUES MUSIC!!!

Amazing job as always
Thank you! Cheers!

I've seen his videos on the floor and he seems to toss them in like it's nothing. I've been planning it in my head for months..
Beard Michael J Fox is back! ,👍😂😂
Maybe we'll build a time machine! LOL

Not yet, but it's on the to-do list along with some other metal patch work that I need to do here and there near the hinge slots.
