@@michellenuzzello3015 Oh wow, I did not expect to ever meet someone who called their grandma "Nonnie." Our family thought that was a made up word! What nationality is she? As for the card game, games like this, Spades, and High-Low-Jack (also known as Pitch) are built around the idea of taking "tricks." Meaning, if I start (because I am to the left of the dealer) with the King of diamonds, now diamonds is the suit called for (so the other 3 players in this hypothetical 4 player game have to follow suit and play diamonds) and each of the other 3 players will have to play a diamond card if they have one. And since I have the King, the only card that will beat it is the Ace of diamonds. If the Ace isnt played, I won that trick. And would start the next trick, since I won the previous trick. Does that make sense? The thing that is confusing about Hearts though is that you are sort of not really trying to win most of the tricks, so learning Spades or Pitch might be easier to start with. And just a fun fact, Hearts is quite an old game! There is a scene where they play it in Godfather 2.
I couldn't get past the first part about dealing the cards!
🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
If you are playing with jokers, what is their rank? Good video.
3:04 sounds like the game is based on trust
3:42 What I feel everyday
does 2 of clubs have to be put down at the start of every round or just the 1st?
No The player who has 2 of clubs starts first
Just to start the game
