Yes. Jab ap arc ko define krty ho aur point laganay k liye set out arc ka option ata he.sub say oper INCR(increment) likha hota he.phir ARC phir 3rd pr offset.
Increment may required distance likhna hota he.for example 10,10 meter pr chainage he.increment may 10 likh do.ya jo bhi chainage ho.25..15..20 etc F2 pr down arrow aur f3 pr up arrow ko press kr k chainge increase ya decrease kr sakty ho.

Point number problem. Point number already exist in job therefore point overwrite problem comes.if overwriteoption come did not press yes.change point number.
Scale factor gps distance ko divide krty hain jo total station say distance ata he.jo bhi aaiy scale factor nikal ata he.gps distance/total station distance.(two points k darmyan distance)
Road ki center line ki location sahi rehti he. Scale factor zameen ki gulai k liye diya jata he. Agar scale factor nai do gy to road ki center line apni orignal position say out ho jai gi.

When you record point two things.one code and 2nd point number.
If overwrite comes change point number...codes same or diffrent its not problem.
