You know I'm stressed to fk, life keeps coming and I swear I'm so grateful, this tune is the only thing in my stupid life that's managed to calm me and make me take a minute. Thanks noiselund for real
Mate sorry for the late reply but thank you for sharing this. I'm really glad this little tune is able to help you out a little bit. I hope whatever it is that's stressing you out gets sorted and that you'll feel better very soon!
This was such a classic and good moment in Harmontown, unexpected to see a remix like this after so much time, this is really good and feels weirdly nostagic
My only other peak moment was Jeff having his phone refer to him as "The Ambassador of Good Times," then Dan yelling at Siri on both his watch and phone trying to get Siri to use his name, which ultimated in Dan asking Siri to "Call me by my name." Siri's response? "Okay, from now on, I'll call you 'By My Name'." Ziggyyyy
Not trying to get too deep into my own sh*t, but I deal with a lot of repressed anger, which can very quickly lead to depression if dwelt upon. Some mornings, when I feel myself dwelling, I watch one of your videos,... or half a dozen, and it always sends me back towards the positive thinking. Thanks for that. Keep up the awesome work.
Mate that's.. I don't know what to say other than thank you! I'm glad and humbled my dumb shit can have a positive effect on your day. Thank you for letting me know!
@@noiselund Way ahead of you on the news and social media. Mostly stuff from the past, but working on it all. Anger management, cognitive therapy and different reactions... I appreciate the kind words.

Thank you!
I subscribed for the RLM remixes, had no idea you were a Harmontown fan as well! This is so great. Such heartfelt mix, and really makes Dan's voice sound great. If you ever make another one of these, I would love to see "Get Used To It" by Rob Schrab!
Ah man thank you! Glad you like it! Yeah I was a massive Harmontown fan since the start basically. Haha "get used to it" haunts my dreams from time to time, but I have actually started on another Schrab tune a couple of months ago but haven't found the time to finish it yet..
I was so distracted by Spencer’s beautiful singing and dancing that I didn’t notice Church, and I was so distracted by Church that I didn’t realize that ROB SCHRAB. ❤ I miss the shit out of Harmontown.
Thanks again for another banger Noiselund! It's the folkiest sounding song you made since your Tenacious D Videogames cover and I for one like those two a lot.
Aw thank you! The credit goes 100% to Harmontown though, this is their creation. I just filled in the gaps on this one. But I really appreciate your kind words mate! Very happy to hear you like em!
I haven't partaken in Harmontown and now I feel like I should, because "Feed the devil soup until your troubles go away." seems like the kind of worldly wisdom worth having.
Much wisdom indeed, like "I sing to my cat in the tune of chicken". All the audio episodes are up on harmontown.com and are streaming live on schrabhomevideo.com if you want years of great stuff to catch up on
@@noiselund Holy cow, man, I have been listening to this on repeat all day. I had it open on youtube, and I kept telling myself, "Ok, one more time. Ok, just one more. Ok..." I got tired of clicking Restart every three minutes, so I just opened it in youtube music and put it on repeat. I don't know whether regular youtube has a repeat function, maybe that was unnecessary. I can't emphasize enough that this compelling musicality does not come from the source material. The original song is a joke, and it has comedic value, but it does not achieve anything like the emotive power of your song. It's not suppose to! It's just a joke. But you have an ability to take these things and tap into not just the musical potential underlying a sample, but the emotional potential. It doesn't matter that it's completely ridiculous. "Here I am," layered over the fast-talking verses in the ending, communicates the feelings of a simple, lonely, misfit soul declaring his dignity and presence to a world of strangers.
This is just such a happy feel good song and style. You ddi an excellent job and I suspect I will listen to this again and again over the years. Did you have any influences for the music style? Because I'd love some bands to check out that are a similar style, if they exist.
There's no possible way in any reality that a random encounter with a fan at a limited audence podcast can result in Spencer. He's just too on the ball to be a ubiquitous rando with such comedy timing & retort. Oh, also the backbone to a pre-theorised franchise. Odd how they discussed D&D 5 weeks before Spencer & then they went all in on D&D. Shill work.
It was a real labour of love though. Have had this a capella song stuck in my head for about a decade and always wanted some music added to it. Was really nervous about releasing it as well since it's such an iconic song for the Harmontown community.
my favorite part is when Spencer belts it out like hes a legit mountain man
It's great! It's a proper growl as well. Would love to hear Spencer doing a metal version of this.
Jeff Davis briefly losing it at 1:19 when Spencer kicks off is also very precious.
@@JonathanHamlow Pinnacle of achievement in getting an improv actor to break like that.
