Missy Wiley that’s because Marilla had a romance with Gilbert’s father when they where younger and they had a quarrel. this is my favorite movie of all time. Love Anne so over dramatic!
SuperHorseman22 She's filled with so much angst.
I have every confidence that it was master-of-the-craft Colleen Dewhurst who made this (and coached this) production to be a masterwork.
My favourite scene! I cry every time!
Anne was really ahead of her time with the green-haired look
I love this movie I used to watch it all the time as a kid
Why did you have to make me cry?!? 😭
Oh God!
The one and only production; never bettered!
Miss this show haven’t watched this is forever! My nieces who are 17 an almost 20 should watch this! Gosh I watched this every time it was on!
You should introduce them to Anne! Those are great ages to watch the series :) Stream Anne of Green Gables on GazeboTV here: gazebotv.com//product-detail/24394
I love the ending where Anne and Gilbert kiss finally.
we love that too :)
I cry every time
...so sweet and real
I love this movie! I've seen it many times before and it never gets old.
"I feel so utterly wretched."..Anne Shirley.
Hahaha.😂👍
Anne and Gilbert forever.
Moments that are chosen in a perfect way.
*“I’m in the depths of despair!”*
My favorite production.
I love the change in Marilla’s face when she hears the last name “Blythe” 😂😂
I think Lucy Maud Montgomery would like this movie adaptation of her book.
Also Megan Follows was perfect in this role. When I'm reading the book I always see Anne Shirley like in this movie.
