I had a friend in high school who would rather not eat at all than eat alone. Otherwise the other students would judge you and assume that you don't have any friends, so in France it's "sad" to see someone eating alone.
"learn from the French" I didn't think French school is a good exemple, in French class are rude, teachers are rude, students are rudes.... We start at 8 AM and finish 5/6 PM it's veryyyyy long, the big part of teachers doesn't care about us they just talk during 1 hour and let us alone. The school system is not adapted to everyone and a lot of great people fail because of it. French school is rude and not a model or something like this...
Addie Come to think of it the majority of Vloggers I see are produced by a Female... This was a cool video to see and that school definitely seems to be huge and confusing to the uninitiated.
Yeah basically when a teacher is not there, we go back home. Our timetables are very flexible, we have different school hours depending on the days. On Mondays I used to have classes from 8 AM to 5 PM but on fridays I had classes from 8 to 12 PM
I guess we want to see how others think of our school system. I’m French btw and I have teachers yelling at me everytime because I’m always late or didn’t do homework xD
@Roxane ARMENGOL They are built pretty tough. They use brick walls and stone walls so they are very hard to get through... I would say they are as hard as stone. lol
don’t rely on school to learn a new language. you need to also try different types of learning methods at home because you’re not gonna learn a whole language in a classroom
Alors je tiens à dire que les profs ne sont pas toujours méchants, la plupart des profs sont vraiment gentils et notre sonnerie n’est pas là même. Chaque école a une sonnerie différente (elle n’ont pas tous la même). 🙃
I used to study in a French school for a bit of time thru Erasmus+ (Toulon, LYCEE Anne Sophie Pic to be exact) and this experience sounds about right, except for the fact that I only had classes in this one giant building (the school had like 4 floors). The thing that is especially true is that in French schools, the kids will rarely let you eat alone, if they see you alone they'll call you to sit with them (or at least that was my experience with it). Lovely video! Keep up the good work!
I feel like it depends on the school. I'm American and when I was in school, we had four classes everyday because the schedule switched every other day. They were A and B day. It is nice not having the same classes every single day. It was the same for my middle school as well.

I don't think French students want to come to American school's lol.

Lol seeing english people being shocked over the fact he said oui after ca va but that's the correct answer ça va means are you okay or good so we always respond with oui or oui et toi to be more polite

I had a friend in high school who would rather not eat at all than eat alone. Otherwise the other students would judge you and assume that you don't have any friends, so in France it's "sad" to see someone eating alone.

That's rude! Learn from the French.
You must go to a horrible school. I’m here in America and we’re all friends. No such thing as “popular” kids in my school
@@kaleycooper9111 Your very lucky then. There isn’t really any “popular” kids but everyone kinda eats lunch in their own little cliques
Soooo we're just not gonna talk about how his photo was displayed IN A MUSEUM NEXT TO PAINTINGS BY PICASSO??? So impressive 👏💯

Y’all talking about the lunch but I’m still on the “ we don’t have class if the teacher is absent “ likeee
This is not the case everywhere. In my school for every absence they tried to replace the teacher.
that’s so weird to me (i go to a french school) because that’s just the norm here lol
Yeah basically when a teacher is not there, we go back home. Our timetables are very flexible, we have different school hours depending on the days. On Mondays I used to have classes from 8 AM to 5 PM but on fridays I had classes from 8 to 12 PM
in my highschool and middle school, the bathrooms weren't unisex (i'm french)

That bell literally gives me anxiety from my old school (in France ) lol

don’t rely on school to learn a new language. you need to also try different types of learning methods at home because you’re not gonna learn a whole language in a classroom
they were speaking "familiarly" with each others that's probably why you did'nt understand
Our French exchange student just left us and this is exactly how he described French hight school. So well put together!

What’s different about the school you go to compared to a French public school?? I’m curious to know 👇🏼🏫
