That's so funny to see your videos when you're french. We see the different traditions, different culture and i can see another "lycée" than mine ! Congrats for having survived into a french school for 7 months !
I had a friend in high school who would rather not eat at all than eat alone. Otherwise the other students would judge you and assume that you don't have any friends, so in France it's "sad" to see someone eating alone.
"learn from the French" I didn't think French school is a good exemple, in French class are rude, teachers are rude, students are rudes.... We start at 8 AM and finish 5/6 PM it's veryyyyy long, the big part of teachers doesn't care about us they just talk during 1 hour and let us alone. The school system is not adapted to everyone and a lot of great people fail because of it. French school is rude and not a model or something like this...
Addie Come to think of it the majority of Vloggers I see are produced by a Female... This was a cool video to see and that school definitely seems to be huge and confusing to the uninitiated.
I used to go to a french school when I was way younger, they had this system where you line up and a teacher seats you at a table. Usually if you stood next to your friends you just end up sitting together. They would take about 8-10 students per table (if i remember correctly). So yeah... nobody sits alone :)
I feel like it depends on the school. I'm American and when I was in school, we had four classes everyday because the schedule switched every other day. They were A and B day. It is nice not having the same classes every single day. It was the same for my middle school as well.
I used to study in a French school for a bit of time thru Erasmus+ (Toulon, LYCEE Anne Sophie Pic to be exact) and this experience sounds about right, except for the fact that I only had classes in this one giant building (the school had like 4 floors). The thing that is especially true is that in French schools, the kids will rarely let you eat alone, if they see you alone they'll call you to sit with them (or at least that was my experience with it). Lovely video! Keep up the good work!
The bit when he was a lunch and they invited him to sit with them see where I live nobody would ever do that their not nice as they fling stuff at you if u sit your self and sit and call u names I’ve had it for a while so that’s why I don’t go to the dinner hall anymore I was really nice to see people being nice to others making me with I went to a French school ☹️
chloe #vaultmechs yeah i feel like Americans are better when it comes to socializing. No one would ever invite you to sit with them in my school (i’m Belgian)
Annso Eilish Not really. If you don’t look like those around you they won’t come talk to you right away :/ you have to be a talkative person to really make friends in America ik it sucks but that’s why I want to move.
CIa rio i went to the US for a month and everywhere u went, u see people talking to each other on the streets, even if they are both American. Here people won’t easily accept you into your group or talk to you
Yeah basically when a teacher is not there, we go back home. Our timetables are very flexible, we have different school hours depending on the days. On Mondays I used to have classes from 8 AM to 5 PM but on fridays I had classes from 8 to 12 PM

Well, the bus stop was at the 'military school'. Makes sense.
it might be to track his food though so that you don’t have to carry cash
hi! it’s been a while ago but it’s actually that secured to prevent kids from getting their “ID cards” (some schools use that for the canteen) stolen or to avoid bringing cash to pay for the meal (basically the school knows when you ate at the canteen so they can charge you for the meals, but if one day you were sick and stayed home they wouldn’t charge you)

Max Reisinger my school ends in June

We don't have a cafeteria like you do, I'm from Germany :)
I had a friend in high school who would rather not eat at all than eat alone. Otherwise the other students would judge you and assume that you don't have any friends, so in France it's "sad" to see someone eating alone.
"Eating alone is not allowed"
In america you get ditched when you sit down
Pigeon same with uk

@@kaleycooper9111 Your very lucky then. There isn’t really any “popular” kids but everyone kinda eats lunch in their own little cliques
My school played Justin Bieber ass the bell for a whole week because kids kept going late to class😂

Bonjour
I used to study in a French school for a bit of time thru Erasmus+ (Toulon, LYCEE Anne Sophie Pic to be exact) and this experience sounds about right, except for the fact that I only had classes in this one giant building (the school had like 4 floors). The thing that is especially true is that in French schools, the kids will rarely let you eat alone, if they see you alone they'll call you to sit with them (or at least that was my experience with it).
Lovely video! Keep up the good work!
"ça va ?"
"oui"

The bit when he was a lunch and they invited him to sit with them see where I live nobody would ever do that their not nice as they fling stuff at you if u sit your self and sit and call u names I’ve had it for a while so that’s why I don’t go to the dinner hall anymore I was really nice to see people being nice to others making me with I went to a French school ☹️

Me too I just told my mom I want to go there for school now 😂
chloe #vaultmechs yeah i feel like Americans are better when it comes to socializing.
Here people won’t easily accept you into your group or talk to you
Y’all talking about the lunch but I’m still on the “ we don’t have class if the teacher is absent “ likeee
This is not the case everywhere. In my school for every absence they tried to replace the teacher.
that’s so weird to me (i go to a french school) because that’s just the norm here lol
Yeah basically when a teacher is not there, we go back home. Our timetables are very flexible, we have different school hours depending on the days. On Mondays I used to have classes from 8 AM to 5 PM but on fridays I had classes from 8 to 12 PM
