Picking one up to putter around the little pond in our neighborhood. I have wanted something like this but the price has been too high for anything like it. I could see a larger-sized upgrade with a true remote controller, like you suggested. Another cool feature would be if the camera could be lowered, even by a few feet. Maybe a corded mechanism where the boat stays on the surface and the camera can be lowered down in deeper water. Maybe I'll pick up two or three and tinker.

Divers went in a Quarry here to search for a missing Drunk Man but they found 3 other bodies, not him. But cool for searching your local waterways but beware you might see a few skeletons along with cool old war finds like grenades, and UXB's , scooters and guns!😂😂

This is phenomenal for the price...I've been waiting for the price of underwater rc stuff with cameras on it to come down and be more affordable, dare I say it more 'off the shelf from your high street'. So far everything has been way too pricey...and finally its like underwater rc has caught up with actual flight rc /drones etc.
