Yeah, I know what you mean. I know a few UA-camrs have glued the little dead cat to the mic, mine seems to stay on alright though. The clips do a good job, I position the microphone facing in with the clip facing out and I tend to be stationary when I do a piece to the camera. I'm thinking about getting a cheap lavalier microphone that will plug into the wireless go, that way you could safely put it into an inside pocket which should solve the problem🤞 Atb Anthony

Nice one Jimmy really enjoyed that. Was up there last week but I was camping over on the Kip - was going to camp by the refuge hut but the smell of piss was horrendous 😫the "Mountains"(12:50) are the Eildon Hills. The farm/bothy that you mentioned is Peelinick an old abandoned farmhouse , you can get a couple of pitches in front of it 👍🏻

Great trip and great area Jimmy, the cabin looked a top place to chill for the evening and 3 top set ups for the bivvies. I'm gonna nip over and give Chris a sub in a minute. That rain came in didnt it. New camera set up worked good including the light. Nice to have compact kit when you're smashin a good few miles on the trails. Cheers for the mention fella, hope you enjoyed my film of the hills while you were in the hills lol 😃. Great adventure.

I'm 61 and would be lucky to get out of the car park yomping miles them days have gone for me sadly but I still get out and about thats the main thing enjoy lads

Great stuff Jimmy - never took the direct route straight up the hill from that parking area before - always followed the rivers on the valley floor....next time I'm up that way I'll be sure to take the hill route. Views were immense - and now you know why I camp in Northumberland/borderland mostly - the views take your breath away & you're almost guaranteed not to see another soul all day. Really enjoyed this vid, tfs and atb Donna :)

Thanks for watching Paul 😂😂😂 I loved watching that program when I was younger it is amazing up there I've had bad experiences with the big expensive cameras so will be sticking with the gopro I had a great panisonic video camera with great zoom and night vision alsorts but it got damp inside and was going to cost over £300 to get fixed it only cost £500 and I'm not sure if I want to risk it atvb jimmy 😎😎

Yes, I reckon the RODE microphone will be a game changer, but something else to remember to switch, charge up etc. I've not even used mine yet. I noticed that my right headphone was weak for part of the video then, it went normal again later on. Something wrong with your Maths, if that guy had 7 kg cos he don't drink alcohol and you had 21 kg because you do then, that means something like 14 kg of BOOZE. 😂
