      +Hustle Passion - I know. I love listening to him because he says a lot of smart interesting things usually. Plus, I enjoy business, so and this was the "IT man" for YEARS known for being huge in business - I mean, Def Jam records?/ Who the heck never heard of them. This man is CRAZY loaded, and he's NOT crashed or burned - heck yeah, I want to hear any bits of knowledge he wants to sprinkle or trinkle down.

    Russell was his usual mixed bag of entertaining, inspiring, informative and all around realness. Absolutely dug it. It would be nice to see an interviewer not ask the most obvious questions. Adding a hint of personality too would make make watching the video in its entirety more bearable.

    For those who aren't ready to go completely vegan, even taking small steps can make a huge difference. Unfortunately, I think many have an "all or nothing" mindset that keeps them from even trying. Perfection is a misleading goal. Another great post--Healthy Journey!

      Good point. Every time you make a choice to eat a meal without animal products, you make a difference. Supply and demand. Every time you buy meat, dairy or eggs, you create demand for animal agriculture to breed more sentient creatures into existence for a short miserable life which makes the environment even worse. Also, the less meat dairy and eggs you consume, the better off your health will be, as long as you substitute whole plant foods. Even processed vegan foods are better for you. Some are better than others. Like Russell said, it can be like methadone to transition to a whole food plant based vegan diet.

    +Ewan Robertson USDA organic grass fed beef is so uncommon that it makes up for only 3% of US sales, it's too expensive for the average consumer to purchase the on a regular basis...& the grass fed labels are only about what the animals are fed & doesn't distinguish whether the beef was produced on well managed climate friendly ranches that aren't overgrazed & thus have fertile soils, clean streams and flourishing native plant & wildlife biodiversity...there isn't a current standard that confirms that beef can be trusted to be better during all stages of production.

    I did the same thing, saw a documentary, actually several. Then went vegetarian. Vegan is harder if you don't cook. Almost everything in restaurants has chicken broth and cheese in some way shape or form. Even things you wouldn't expect to have a meat substance usually does. Like chips, fries, noodles etc.

    • @someguy2135
      @someguy2135 4 роки тому

      When you are looking for vegan and vegetarian restaurants, try www.happycow.net. Just plug in your location, and it will give you a list of fully vegan or veggie restaurants or ones with vegan or veggie options. If you shop at Trader Joe's, or Sprouts markets, you will find more vegan products. UA-cam channels like "Cheap Lazy Vegan" will show you how to cook without needing a lot of time.

      Veganism is hard because it’s a completely unnatural diet. We’re not herbivores. It’s a diet of the privileged westerner who thinks they know better than indigenous people, and millions of years of evolution. Veganism is 200 years old maximum. The vegan society was only formed in 1944

    Watch 'The secret life of plants'..It's here on youtube and even some newer better ones.
    And tell me than that plants arent living. They bleed, they feel, they are conscious..but we humans tend to give less about shit that is not like us, or the less it functions like us, the more we dont give a fuck.
    This has nothing to do with If im vegan or not..I just find it interesting.
    About being vegan or not, I think it is important to eat less meat, since we arent built for high quantities of meat. And many other reasons.

    • @Stoney-Jacksman
      @Stoney-Jacksman 8 років тому

      Marius S.
      Have you watched the documentary, or read about it? They DO feel pain. There are plants who feel there is pain to come even before it happens! Im just talking here, I just hate being black or white, i just like to be open to al information. I hate it when people darken one bit of info the brighten up other information..
      Plants feel, and do have a central nervous system, but not like ours. Animals do, and thats why we tend to empathize more with them then with plants. People are weird like that, for instance most people wont hurt a cat or dog, or something large and moving etc..but they wont hesitate to kill a fly or mosquito.
      As i said, go watch that documentary and there is much more information besides that old doc.. (its like people dont read anymore but go direct to reacting after reading 1 sentence)
      I think everything in this natural world feels and is... feel me? It is what it is. I dont think we are meant to be eating fucking meat as we do in this modern society, and so much else we do isnt the way it supposed to be..
      I agree with your 1st point.. many people are for or against something immediately..i dont function that way..so dont put me in that position please.
      Peace :)

      @Stoney-Jacksman 8 років тому

      Its clear you dont read, but see eveything through very subjective biased glasses. If you read what i Said then you would see that I said I AGREE with that. that doesnt mean there is no other infor to share or to know or to discuss.. What an ignorant person you are man..gotdaaamn .so many people like you, they dont read or listen they fill everything with their own biased mind. open up and read there is more than just PRO OR AGAINST. !!!
