    One time a friend and I drove all over trying to find a interfering signal. Turns out it was coming from the car we were in.

      How did you realize it was the car!?

      @@K0LWC after driving all over we could not seem to locate it. We had a loop antenna. We finally pulled over and disconnected the car battery from the car. It disappeared.

      Interesting. Spark plugs seem a logical radio source. What part of the car do you think it was?

    72MHz FM was RC Airplanes .. 75 MHz was RC cars & boats .. most, if not all RC hobbyists have now moved on to 2.4 GHz spread spectrum …

      It seems many of the devices have all moved on to higher frequencies. I know many microphone systems are now in the 200MHz range.

    Thanks for the video, you have shown the greatest resources I knew of for finding this type of information, Good to see HDSDR working in somebody else radio room too.

      While this isn’t shortwave in the video, I agree! I love tuning around and seeing what I can identify.

    I once found someone talking in codes...Send the Jupiter to chilli building, etc etc on FM modulation...way high up than the legal UHF frequencies for Amateur radio...but within reach of Baofeng handhelds. I have no idea what that was. But I was intrigued.

      That's a classic code from CPI (maoist )
      Jupiter = person which was on radio
      Chilli = ammunition
      I have been listening to these naxals for way long
      Recently even a smuggling was busted I will link the video of that ua-cam.com/video/jDvfBJQpB20/v-deo.html

    Sir… I’m finding signals on the scope that seem to follow my centerline frequency indicator on my waterfall or scope and follows other signals around some people call them sharks and all kinds of other stupid names. I’m finding these signals scanning other people signals and following and scanning seems like my radio. I see these a lot, and I don’t see any explanation for I’m on the Internet.

      @@keesvanoosbree5911 I want to take my HT and confirm it’s not Basswood, that was my first thought. It’s possible that the ULS license for MG public schools could be another zip and not picked up in the search. We had these same clocks when I was in school.
