Everyone’s eyes are different i personally like Sonys picture more… and when it comes to technology.. I don’t necessarily put a lot of weight into price m.. I just want the better option.. all technology by the time it hit public shelves is obsolete already.. u never going to get your money worth
Joined when you got your C1 and I was looking for a new TV that was 2 years ago + And am Still Loving My C1 and that's all thanks to you my friend !!!! .... You said you would Stay with your C1 for "The Long Hall" and you are true to your word. I think the C1 is should/Does still Stand as a Baseline for all Models be them better or worse the C1 is a great SET. Thanks for all you do.
Modern OLEDs with their removal of Black Polarizer and 120Hz BFI sacrifice contrast, color accuracy, motion for higher brightness, in some cases it's a downgrade from the 2021 WOLED models.
Looks like it would be game over if LG decided to implement some of the QD OLED features on their TVs. Thanks for the honest and detailed comparison, as always. I also want to thank you for opening my eyes about HDR, I'm now using your SDR settings on my S90C for games and I'm blown away by how much detail and overall beauty I was missing all along when I played them in HDR. Keep doing the excellent work you do; we really appreciate it👍
Bought my C1 from your recommended I had a Hisense based on your videos but decided to step up to OLED & haven’t looked back. Just bought a Panasonic 4k player can’t wait to see the 2 together . Definitely subscribing again
A lot crushed out on the lg compared to the Sony loss of detail in dark areas. Almost like a black void instead of showing images in the dark. That’s why I sold my cx and g1
Thanks as always for everything you do man! Speaking of the C1 I left you a couple questions on the last settings you made if you get a chance to read them.
Hey mate. I’m buying my first OLED and looking at the 55 C3 and S90C. For my bedroom. I can get the C3 for $2010 and the S90c for $2170 here in Australia. Samsung QC and software concerns me. C3 and lack of brightness concerns me. It appears the C3 has better colour accuracy? I watch a ton of sport (NBA and F1). In either case, out of the two and their prices, what should I buy? I’m incredibly indecisive!
Hi Q. I need your thoughts . If you had a choice witch would you purchase. A c3 83" or a s90c 83"? The s90c is about $500 cheaper. I know the 83" is not qd. I'm driving myself crazy trying to decide. Darrell
Sony uses the same panels, from what I understand. However their processing is superior. But if you're talking one vs the other, and at a 3:1 price difference!? C'mon. Grab the LG!! I know the C1 isn't available new, but we also don't have the money or space to have two or more side-by-side. This is what people don't get. For me, I'm rocking a Hisense ULED, because, for the money, it can't be beat. If I were shopping for an OLED, I'd buy the best LG I could get. If I jad money to piss away, I'd buy the Sony.
Anime is mastered using NTSC-J standards of color which is around 9300K/Cool, the 6500K/D65 or reference calibration that "purists" use is technically "inaccurate", even running TV in Vivid mode would be more "accurate"
Use influencers and celebrities to sell annually declining products, over improving upon technology, resulting in the worst age ever for sony products. We used to get a new chipset every year from sony. We're stuck on the XR chip💀
Put them in game mode one near the other...It wouldn't be identical. I gave a C1 48 and a Samsung G8 1st gen qd oled...in game mode the Qd Oled kicks strong
All of these TVs look virtually identical to the naked eye since the C1. I don’t think this is an issue you can pidgeonhole onto the A95L. Could easily make a similar video about the G3.
A tie 😂😂😂? I have both. The highlight details/HDR impact is everything you said. The Sony nailed it. The A95L has waaaaay more detail in dark scenes. Shadow detail as well. That’s also a huge difference to me between the two.
If you find out what’s wrong with the A95L, either watch Quantum or wait until the A95M comes out next year. The other influencers will tell you what’s wrong with the A95L so they can sell you the A95M which will probably be next year’s TV Shootout winner.
Sony has much better sound. I compared the C2 to the a80k last year, and thought Sony had a much better edge. I also liked the picture much more on the A80L. The A80L seemed to not be as quick at catching WiFi signal. My wife liked how Alexa was built in the LG C2, and the Sony it was not. She liked saying to the LG simple comands that the the struggled more with. All in all, I like the Sony more. My wife and I walked into a Best Buy, and a TV salesman showed several display LGs with burn in already.

if you own a C1 you don't need any new tv I love mine best tv I have ever owned and I've had seven in my life time if you can find a c1 buy it 👌
Sony is the winner IMO. Awesome vividness.
The vivid imagery is awesome
How would the C3 match against the Sony ? 👀

I recently calibrated my old C1 with your settings and I'm 😁 that it's still viable in 23-24

Still hoping we can get updated PC monitor settings for the C1! Maybe an HDR revamp?!

Again I must ask........WHAT HAS SONY DONE TO THIS MAN?!😂🤷♂️

Just signed up! Can’t wait to try out your settings! Thank you
If I used these settings on the c2, would that work?
Put them in game mode one near the other...It wouldn't be identical. I gave a C1 48 and a Samsung G8 1st gen qd oled...in game mode the Qd Oled kicks strong

I love your s90c settings, I am a vip member. Any suggestions for gaming? Leave them for default?
Thank you! You could use the settings values in game mode or leave then default if it doesn't work
You can also use the S95B Settings on the S90C since they're so similar

I instantly liked the Sony.
