Great timing, been looking for a larger bag, which I thought I needed, until this review. Love SW-Motech stuff. Thanks so much

Awesome! I find that having multiple smaller bags allows you to be more flexible with weight distribution. Also, it allows you to be more modular resulting in minimal baggage for shorter trips. Happy riding! ✌️

    Hi.
First, Thanks for all the tips and tricks for us who own (or want to own) the ktm 790-890 Duke.
Bought an 890-r myself in 2022, love it :)
Have the same Givi Crash bar on mine.
Bought immediately after I saw your post ... :)
    Now to the question!
What about the heat from the engine when you have the bags attached to the Givi cover.
What happens with the heat from the engine, don't the bags get warm?
    Best Regards
    Mike (from Sweden)

      Thank you! 🙂
I have noticed a bit more heat coming from the engine now that the bags are in front of my legs blocking some of the wind. However, it has been very hot here over the past week and a half (close to the 40°C range) so that could be a factor in my noticing the heat. After a couple 2 hour + rides in the heat, I have not noticed any adverse effects to the bags or the mounting hardware (I am using ram mounts as additional support underneath the bags). Doesn’t seem to be affecting the engine as the engine temp doesn’t go up at all even when sitting in long waits while idling in the heat.
      Hope that helps! ✌️

Massively expensive here in the UK - £140 for two six litre pouches!! What a joke! - Scrap that just found a pair for £100 - Still not cheap!

No, not cheap - but they are quite nice! 😅
