Long Term Outcomes after Aortic Valve Surgery in Patients with Aortic Regurgitation

Cleveland Clinic cardiologist Dr. Milind Desai discusses a a paper published in JACC Imaging studying 865 patients who underwent aortic valve surgery with severe aortic regurgitation. Baseline ejection fraction and LV strain were studied pre-procedure and post procedure to look at the impact of these values and overall mortality. Dr. Desai discusses the findings of the study and implications for future evaluation of patients with aortic regurgitation. Study can be reviewed in JACC Imaging.

Hi I had aortic valve 6 years ok I now have chronic tiredness and some time my heartbeat goes from 80 to 104 and back to 80 only since Vacine injection I also take beta blocker bisoporol 5 mg twice a day will this effect I also have pacemaker set at 80 beats a minute will low cab diet effect heart beat thankyou Malcolm

I had AVR and low EF, my AV was replaced a week ago, but it seems EF is lower at 20%. Should I expect an improvement in EF over a few months?

Agar aapko problem hai to therk hai. Meine 2 year pehle arotic valve change karvaya tha and now I dont hav any issue stepping up the 4 to 6 story stairs.
Mein 2 baar 6 to 8 km ki tracking bhi ki hai 2 saal mein
