Inhone bola Banks ke pass infrastructure hota hai so unko operating cost jayeda lagta hai... Fir MobiKwik ko operating cost low hoga because they are digital... Now MobiKwik is charging 48% annual interest on loan and other banks are still charging 10 % - 15% annual interest. Chote cities ke logo ko lootne ka kaam...

IPO is going to come means . . .
Now investors are ready to quit (as I have observed in the past).
Actually it's a deal during inception of such company that , if you want investment, you have to come up with an IPO within an agreed period, so that, they can exit with profit. And people think, company is growing and good time to invest.
    Let's see. 😄

Not having money to study in Stanford could be story of so many of us bit converting it by hustling like this is mind-blowing. Leaving cushy Job is a story for many of us but having a strong belief in herself to create greater value is mind blowing. Rooting for her company's ipo too

Paytm phonepe has huge funding and shares from China. Maybe mobiwiki doesn't get much funding from abroad. Once you tie up with multinationals, you'll have to share all the data of customers as well. We have seen what happened between paytm and government. Maybe she wants to play safe

her attitude and approach towards women equality and remarkable take on women empowerment in INDIA in its true sense is commendable. Not unlike some pseudo feminists who cries out that women are not rising in male dominant sectors due to lack of opportunities. Her thoughts on objectification of women as a beauty piece only ' the story she narrated of the so called magazine editor' shows that she believes creating her own destiny than asking others to pave them for women.

I have one request to you. Story is fine but try to get into the business model like how they're generating revenue and profit? Try to get the practical exposure she got in the University which eventually gave her enough courage to run her own entity. That's more important. It's important for us to deep down into it to have experience, knowledge and expertise to build something like that. Request her to summarise her knowledge with an example to make views aware of better grasping into it. Thanks

Great Content. Thank you for uploading such interviews that give insights into what goes on into making and building a start up.
It was very discouraging to see some comments about her attitude. I don’t understand why assertive women get a tag as having “attitude”. Loved her assertiveness and our society is the one that really needs to change their attitude towards women!

I want correct Upasana ji by saying that CDMA was present in India and it was Reliance which disrupted the mobile phone market by launching it. A similar disruption was done for data usage by launching Jio.
I really appreciate the thought process you have in taking the fintech to a newer level and wish you all the best 🙏

32:00 yes digitalisation is very much needed . But she is wrong - branch banking is self sustained model here in India with greatest PnL ever in history . Plus like gramin banks and cooperative societies are easily available for local for their financial needs . Real Bharat like 70%of people are operating via branch and cooperative societies only .
India will take another decade for transformation in digitalisation in impactful manner to cater those markets . Education is primarily very much essential to enabling this .

The first 15 minutes of the episode is very nice. Later on arrogant wording of her is not imagined. I think upsana you deserve all the applause for your hard work. But The american style of downplaying every body is not expected. Further, you are telling that india banking system has looted the people. I can proudly say that Indian Public Sector banks has contributed a lot to the society than private ones. Here PSU ka moto is not only profits but also service. You people use the word service but you dont implement it.
