just found your channel, coming from someone who is extremely sound sensitive i am so damn thankful you do silent builds. a true lifesaver! trying to get my 89 yj back on the road, glad i can follow your journey
Now ya talking… my eyes glaze over when Jeep’s are the subject. I just love older Jeep’s!. While driving around, and cars are passing by … none catch my interest, but when a jeep is coming at me … ASMR😍
It is incredible how the paint came back after polishing. I have so much admiration for your hard work and stamina to follow though to completion in all these projects which turn out amazingly. 🙌👍💪
Amazing how you brought the Jeep back to old glory in only eight minutes :-). Looks like a nice and complete ride if the engine is coming back to life as well. Looking forward to see how this project is going along.
JNH Classic, you lucky bastard. I got an opportunity to drive a Jeep just like that (also the same color), on the island of Rhodes, Greece some 20 years ago. Blue sky, sun was shining and 86°F. It was freaking awesome... I am very very envious....
Love your work ethic, I’m in too deep with my project and I check videos when I need breaks. I save a lot of time wet sanding the car very light with a fine grit (800 grit or higher) with soap water before polishing with compound. Or I’ve used also scotch brite pads and wash the car. I don’t get too crazy with it but it does cut the top coat better making the polishing so much easier. You did a great job with this Jeep. God bless and keep uploading more videos.
Found your channel for the model T restoration, which I hope to get into soon. As a Jeep owner myself, it’s really cool to see you working on one also. They sometimes need a lot of tlc, but if you take care of them, they’ll return the favor
Hi… if you would allow me to make a couple of suggestions from one yellow Jeep owner to another… paint your door hinges, window hinges and fenders black…. It will make that yellow pop,
What was the grit of the pads used (aggressive)? I know each of these ebay sellers have their own color-combos, so hard to say which one you used. I have similar project and do not want to burn through old brittle paint.
I use the orange pads which are the firmest “most aggressive”. But the buffing compound is what makes the biggest difference. I also use the most aggressive compound. You do have to be careful on body lines and edges not to burn through the paint.
I have the 88 and it doesn’t have a back seat nor the bolts. Do you happen to know what the bolt sizes are? I have bought several sizes but can’t get the depth right.
Can you tell me where to find Jeep used OEM parts at such reasonable prices ? I have a 95 YJ that need's everything inside replaced and everything I look at online is expensive. Any help would be appreciated

Impressive cleanup. Makes me wonder what's underneath my cars' protective layers of dirt.
You just can't resist old light yellow cars 😂 Good work!
I’m drawn to them like a deer to headlights

Very impressive, I'm supposed to pick up a 1990 that is exactly like this one and now I can't wait to get it and hope it turns out just like yours.
From 3.5 to 10k in 8 and a half minutes (or so). Perfect!
That's a clean rust free Jeep! It's nice to start with a clean canvas
Glad I found this channel, great simple ideas to improve your YJ. Spend the time to invest in your rig

Great find, love the 80s side decals have survived
Great job! Paint looks like new!
Yahoo, another build. So far looks promising. Down the road, it will be another complete rebuild. Great job so far. 👍🏻🇺🇸
Incredible transformation
Lovely video bru, but wish you kept the original tires
Nice yellow is my favorite color!

That Jeep cleaned up nicely! Great find!
The decals look retro great!
Neat!
Should be another interesting project.
Thanks, and Woof to Walter.
Sometimes all it takes is a little elbow grease. Looks like a totally different vehicle. Great video. Thanks RT
Wow! That paint came back really nice! I’m partial to the steelies but I subscribed to see what you do with the rest!
Thanks for subscribing! I've finished this project. Here a link to the full build series: ua-cam.com/play/PLHSrLPAGC1x6rRz83mzmsJ-xinMo6zGa1.html
I’ve been able to binge watch all your other builds. Kinda bummed I’ll have to wait in between episodes now 😂
Nice cleanup!
Yes look like you got nice Jeep and it clean up really good. Hope the motor is too bad but I know you will go though it good. 💛💛
Wow man nice job and nice Jeep!

Wow nice find there Jared! I'm looking forward to what you do with this, and curious what your plans are.
Damn that paint looks good..didnt look like it would turn out that way!
🙌🏻❤️ classic Jeep always
Wow, now I want to polish something hahaha. Great video as always.
Wow a little bit of elbow grease and I'm guessing 2 hours and the paint looks awesome.
That came up great!
Great job I much prefer the original steel wheels though.

Amazing. Now if you could only do that to me.
Very good job!!
Just a question, what brand of polish are you using?
Thanks, I use Chemical Guys products
Does this buff put scratches to???

When I see this vehicle, I think of Jurassic park, because the film also had jeep wranglers in it.
I have a 98 TJ.
howdy, id be interested in that set of 5 wheels you've got...
Email me at Jnhclassics@gmail.com
Yeah! I prefer the original steelies, or the JP 5 spokes.
I have the 88 and it doesn’t have a back seat nor the bolts.

I found most of these parts on Facebook marketplace and eBay 👍
Night and day
👍👍✌️
Did you get rid of the fj40 and just move on to a Jeep???
I still have the FJ, I’ll get back to it eventually
Better stop that rust at the bottom of the windshield frame before it gets worse.
3500 eh? Non running eh? 3500.....man....my 95 must be worth a mint. Bought it for 5k 4 years ago. I'm thinking prices have increased since then :D
Mind you....those factory half doors are worth a grand by themselves.
Wow. Nice job. I am really impressed. Curious as to what those wheels are from?
The wheels are from a Tj
@@Jerod_Helt Yea....I watched the rest of the vids. Great job there man. That is one sharp looking YJ IMO.
...odd looking FJ40?
It changed with age
Poor land cruiser
There's one of this model for sale in the Portland or area. Wouldn't be this one, is it?
I sold this a while back so it’s possible that it’s for sale again
