Its understandable that you focus on your home team, but what about the performance by the Wallaby backs? I haven't seen a Wallaby backline perform like that since the days of the Ella brothers and Campese.
Ollie Lawrence too me is not an international player keeps making far too many mental errors. It's time to start Tommy Freeman at 13 with Ollie Sleigtholme on the wing. As good as Ben Earl has been he's unbalanced the back row. We need a traditional number 8.

Agree almost entirely with your analysis. England forwards were at least 10% less energetic than last week, possibly a conditioning issue? We have no attack, simple. Thought Stuart had another positive performance. Defensive overfold being cut in two by the reverse angle , and agree , this is a function of this structure, needs to be adaptive and not policy driven. May be time to bring back the height of Stewart at fullback, the new rules suit his strengths more. Slade needs to be less of a priority in selection, at least right now, because he is not in attacking form.
Well done Australia, really entertaining game and a deserved win, when you consider 2 comebacks! But england, yet again!! For me, I've said it a thousand times, the midfield doesn't work! Dombrandt doesn't work! Subbing both half backs at the same time, regardless of the game!! Doesn't work!! Blitzing every play, doesn't work!!! It's so obvious, it's the very definition of insanity!
England are in Transition - No Farrell - Love - winning something will give them momentum but not easy when you have NZ Aust and SA to play in your first up season games - England will click - 6 Nations is where they can do it - if they somehow beat SA they have turned a huge corner into next year
I’m no expert. Red-ball cricket is my first game. My view, fwiw, is that Borthwick *has* consistently responded to calls for skill. Tommy Freeman, George Furbank (keeping Steward out), Marcus Smith puts Ford on the bench, Ellis Genge and Ben Earl. I recall everyone shouting for all these players. Feyi-Waboso is another one. Are we now saying these aren’t the best players? I worry about the coaching by numbers. Suddenly Felix Jones’ absence is glaring.
Was this the game Dombrant needed? He may have proven himself. Ben O’Keefe needs a serious review, for both England Australia, a lot of important things missed
Poms got bashed up physically. Look at what they did to Curry. Itoje was dominated by Valentini, and CCS went missing later on when the match was in the balance. The unsung heros were the two locks and the hooker. Being a kiwi I dont even know their names, I will now.
You’re all raving about Smith but look at the try in the last few seconds …..why does he get drawn in to tackle the Centre who is already covered instead of staying out with the wingman who just has to trot over on his own ? Mind you he probably wouldn’t have stopped him scoring because his defense is no better than the rest of the squad.
Felix jones was still the defense coach when England pushed New Zealand in New Zealand,,, the English media said good riddance when the news broke that jones is leaving now you have a game where England missed about 35 tackles against a young and up coming ausies sides that no one gave a chance. England defense coach needs to look at some of the springboks tapes from last year and those tapes of the English vs All blacks earlier this year he might learn a thing or two
Now there's a surprise. England not being able to close out a game. Aimless box kicking saying here you are do you want the ball back. Lawrence and Slade are below world standard centres. Not so sure Borthwick does his homework on the opposition.
england Roo The Day Never Give Up! Never Surrender! & riSE UP against the odds.. Southern Hemisphere Rules Victorious Joe & Co. Kia Ora from Aotearoa/ NZ
England's crazy almost on existent defence was an atrocious performance and the main reason for this loss Attack was also to basic and better support of the ball carrier is needed and better running lines adopted Also B Spencer plays at to slow a tempo and kicks way to much and wayward T.Curry still isnt match fit and neither is HSlade who is making massive defensive mistakes iand even so just hasn't the pace or power for the modern game at international level Bothwick also needs to start picking some of the young talent N.Iseikwei just isn't international class why keep picking him or EWELS ? When you can bring on players like R.TUIMA OR J.BATLEY H.TIZZARD He also needs to start chancing his arm to finally solve the inside centre dilemma by choosing the inform L.Anyawu and W.Butt
Trouble is Marcus missed important tackle. Marcus doesn’t pass enough. Also our defence aswell as theirs was rubbish we had 37 missed tackles up against a team like the all blacks a few years ago it would have been 42 -0. We can’t have an attack that doesn’t allow defence our flankers are not at the bottom of every breakdown. Just needs some adjustments
Test footy is a puzzle and Schmidt has found some pieces today. Set-Piece gets a tick. Maul defence tick, carry and clean huge tick. Balance in midfield tick. Intelligence back 3 tick, backrow who can dominate physically tick and a world class prop forward who can dominate gain line.
I think I've had enough. Someone give me a call when England are capable of winning a game. How many disappointments does it take for the rest of you to give up on them? We're just so used to being losers.
@@IverKnackerov England richest rugby nation with a massive pool of players should be the best team in the World but sadly no fire in their bellies ! 😢
I understand, that the English fans will be disappointed with the result, but what a match! What an absolute cracker of a match from both teams. Drama to the very end, both sides showed some beautiful creative attacking, both sides had comebacks and relapses. What an absolute roller coaster, what a rugby union advertisement. As a neutral fan, I'd like to thank both teams for this premium entertainment. Game of the autumn by a mile so far, and maybe the game of the year.
Praising Dombrandt for completing a pass that any club player could make is baffling. Dombrandt did nothing else he doesn’t carry, tackle and has poor work rate. England back row is too slow and second rows not dynamic enough. Same issue in backs no pace. Borthwick picks favourites and is not up to the task. Make changes now.
Where do England go from here Borthwicks game plan not working the English defense is shocking. To much box kicking playing into the wallabies hand's not looking good for rest of the autumn internationals and to lose at Twickenham again in front of the English supporters just not good enough. Look like RFU made a mistake appointing Borthwick. They should have gone for a more experience coach the way we our playing we could finish near the bottom of next year's six nations 🧐🌹🏴🏉🏉
That win was earned through the sheer physicality of the pack led by Bell. That kid is some player. Poms were arrogant and tried to win the game in the first 10 minutes all the while falling into a trap. The great Wallaby dna of running rugby is back. This time with a pack that can support the flair.
I don’t think arrogance comes back into it, England were poor the better team won in the end a game which could have gone either way, bottom line defence was optional, if you think that a descent victory against a poor England side after the horrific championship they just had enables them to compete against NZ, SA, France or Ireland I suspect the foolish arrogance is on you.
Borthwick is the wrong coach, chosen on the basis of two good seasons with Leicester - Mark McCall has a prolonged history of success at Saracens - he should have been in instead of Borthwick who has done nothing to lift England after Jones departure

God we’re not very good at all 😔
England are in Transition - No Farrell - Love - winning something will give them momentum but not easy when you have NZ Aust and SA to play in your first up season games - England will click - 6 Nations is where they can do it - if they somehow beat SA they have turned a huge corner into next year
I’m no expert.
A close game that can go either way is the way rugby should be played 🎉
I would add to that, it was also played in the very best manner, well done to both teams and the referees
George, Spencer, Ford and Borthwick need to go… shocking. This is not rocket science!!
It we rush defence we have to nail the player with the ball !
Ford isn’t an impact sub or a ten who can play behind a pack who doesn’t dominate set piece
What the hell was that non-tackle by Marcus Smith all about?
Was this the game Dombrant needed? He may have proven himself. Ben O’Keefe needs a serious review, for both England Australia, a lot of important things missed
Back row of hill underhill and mercer pls
Poms got bashed up physically. Look at what they did to Curry. Itoje was dominated by Valentini, and CCS went missing later on when the match was in the balance. The unsung heros were the two locks and the hooker. Being a kiwi I dont even know their names, I will now.
Earl and C South from the bench
Rant away buddy very rounded review that.
Yes I mentioned he got that one wrong in the match report
Which bok coach will england pick off this time 🤦♂️
Felix jones was still the defense coach when England pushed New Zealand in New Zealand,,, the English media said good riddance when the news broke that jones is leaving now you have a game where England missed about 35 tackles against a young and up coming ausies sides that no one gave a chance.

I think England needs a proper out and out 12
England's crazy almost on existent defence was an atrocious performance and the main reason for this loss Attack was also to basic and better support of the ball carrier is needed and better running lines adopted Also B Spencer plays at to slow a tempo and kicks way to much and wayward T.Curry still isnt match fit and neither is HSlade who is making massive defensive mistakes iand even so just hasn't the pace or power for the modern game at international level Bothwick also needs to start picking some of the young talent N.Iseikwei just isn't international class why keep picking him or EWELS ? When you can bring on players like R.TUIMA OR J.BATLEY H.TIZZARD He also needs to start chancing his arm to finally solve the inside centre dilemma by choosing the inform L.Anyawu and W.Butt
100%
If Aussie can get their scrum and lineout sorted They will be top 3. Give up on that huge 3 he can’t scrum.
I think I've had enough. Someone give me a call when England are capable of winning a game. How many disappointments does it take for the rest of you to give up on them? We're just so used to being losers.
Maybe if your countrymen could stop being so arrogant, underestimated Aus the whole week
english game management needs reassing Leadership Captaining has to be poor
Slagged Wales off for fun, nice to see you are 0 v 2 in the internationals.

You wont be any better. Another spoon incoming 2025
@@IverKnackerov imagine losing regularly to a country with a population 1/3 the size of london 😂
@@TheFiremansam22 you’ve been victimised today no doubt
@@IverKnackerov England richest rugby nation with a massive pool of players should be the best team in the World but sadly no fire in their bellies !
😢
The wheels are off the chariot!!!!
Smiths complete lack of awareness for the last score was awful. He is reasonable going forward but his defence is school boy level.
Not bad for the ranked 9th in the world….
Did Marcus Smith stay on for the whole 80 mins ? 😅
thats the only reason the English lost last week because they subbed him off right 😮
Praising Dombrandt for completing a pass that any club player could make is baffling.
England shipping 42 points at home to a team ranked 9th in the world is simply not acceptable
England made Australia look good.
Good come back by the Wallabies but the test will be when they play a proper team from their fellow antipodeans
Borthwick is the wrong coach, chosen on the basis of two good seasons with Leicester - Mark McCall has a prolonged history of success at Saracens - he should have been in instead of Borthwick who has done nothing to lift England after Jones departure
We've reached a new low fantastic 🙄
Super rugby players are better than england URC players😅😅😅😅
