could do with one of those here in Skewen, next to Portalbot, the only thing that makes our air clean is corruption! I hate it when a gentle breeze comes from the south, the smell can be horrible and the rain burns your eyes! Sometimes the haze is brown, iridescent, pink, yellow or even orange. Sometimes we have 3 suns at sunset. It's all expected if you live on Yellowstone or some other active volcano, but Wales is hardly the place that should stink of sulfur! After a tantrum the tests for air quality changed, now were cleaner than clean, so I can take my baby for some nice fresh air at Aberavon! Just need to pack tissues for the runny eyes and drippy noses and extra Ventolin for all the asthma that just got worse for us all for some reason.
Can you answer this? All my life I dreamt of going to England. I made it there in 1997 when I was 42. In London some buildings were white and others were sooty. We were told they were being washed because coal was no longer being used for heating. Is that true? BTW England was beautiful. The people were so posh and were unique dressers.
@@ritaroadtrue. The Houses of Parliament used to be heavily discoloured until they were cleaned. Don't see the contrast so much these days, but I remember what you're describing in the 1980s

Slightly warmed smog is so much healthier.😂
Great if you're walking behind a vaper in 2024...
0:28 Now we just wear noise cancelling headphones - serenity now
Dak dak. It’s mars attacks!
I mean, I would 100% wear that because my asthma is so bad I struggle to breathe in London now. It would have been much worse, then.

Smog killed a lot of people, if this worked then I wouldn't care what people thought of me.

lol, I cannot understand why it never took off... 🤷♂️
The mask didnt come with portable backpack rocket thrusters
I would've wanted a matching handbag lol 😁!
For anyone wondering, a lot of the smog at that time was caused by burning rubbish at the tips.
Not so much. Most came from coal burnt in power stations, factories and domestic grates.

They had A LOT of smog caused by all the coal use and the fact that heavy fogs were common in London so all that smoke would just hang with the smog.

And I thought the smog Helmut would've been all the rage in LA.....
There was a similar thing in the 80s for hay fever
mmm fresh carbon monoxide
I must buy one for my boss😮

Iria fazer um sucesso durante a pandemia...
I saw some things like this when covid was raging and millions were dying.
I want one
👍👍👍
I saw someone wearing one during the covid panic
Reminds me of the Pandemic we haven't really come that far 😂
Utterly bizarre!
Never caught on because we actually did something about air quality.

Helmet with Air filter
@@fidelcatsro6948 😹😹😹
Wonderful device.... 😂 😂
Looked useless and stupid in the 60’s and the same in covid!
It would have been useful four years ago during the pandemic
Definitely, just as helpful as the injection 😂
Wearing one of those is a much better alternative to what we see now with masks
We can make it better and compacter with todays materials
