A wonderful performance. I am delighted and enchanted . Great music. Thank you very much ❤️
This song is about what lead singer Esther Okai-Tetteh's grandmother used to tell her. She would say something like "When I die, don't worry about me, because I'll be drinking wine on Venus." Those words and how Grace & The Hodge Podge have translated them into this song, are incredible and very powerful to me. I can barely even THINK about this song or explain it to someone without crying my eyes out, especially if I'm describing the meaning of the song WHILE I'm listening to it.
Grace is gonna change the world
3:11 I really like the space she left here. It's almost like she's playing backup for someone else to solo over. Takes guts to leave that much void in a "solo".
To me, that's what sets her apart. She's remarkably expressive.
Grace is so young and making her own way! She’s awesome 🎸🔥❤
This is some really Soulful music from the ❤ . Love me some good ole Grace and her amazingly talented band. Keep the Soul wanting more Grace. Beautiful stuff 🤘😎🤘
My BFF's son is Grace's BFF. Grace is a total sweetheart, humble, and so so talented. 🎉🎉
She's a very talented woman! I'm blown away. Like a modern day Nina Simone ❤
Any weekend affairs I hear they are nasty
Overwhelming ☮️
Got to meet Grace with my 12 yr old granddaughter, a budding young bass player in Camden for a local festival. What a lovely young lady and incredible guitarist. Great band❤
Awesome performance! Everyone in the band is stellar!
Love love love... Please come out to Oz for Blues and Roots Festival in April👍😀
Hodge Podge , the sky is your ground zero. I love y’all.
Wowzers! Gooooosebumps!!!!!!
So frickin good!!!
Dang, she bared her whole SOUL on the table playing that Guitar! I know her INSIDES, now!
And Grace dragged me to life singing that song like that! I was content with where I've been. She snatched me right up outa that!
VOTE!💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
A stellar performance ❤
Love the guitarist's "Cher from Clueless come patent leather and lace rocker chick" ensemble.
That would be the titular Grace Bowers!
@@__mads__ 💛
Had to watch it again!
The Hamond B3 organ was a special touch
Грэйс прекрасная во всём и в музыке, и во внешности !!!❤❤❤❤
That's the greatest guitar solo of all time!
Wow, I do love some soul. What a good band.
ARTISTS ❤
Great performance from both the singer lady and the guitar lady.
And the guitar guys, too!
IMAGINE 🌎 ✌️ ❤️ 🎼 🎶 🎵
young guitarist reinvigorating blues, i love it
They should make more uploads of this so I could like it again.
Fantastic
Please play the legendary Newport Folk Festival next Summer
List the Band, they are fire. Grace the Goddess.
This is so beautiful
Une voix hors pair....bravo.
Me fait penser à Patti Smith...
Heed her guitar strap. In addition to being magnificent, she understands the assignment!
God bless you beautiful people 🙏❤️
Miss you Jimmy ❤
Great guitar playing! My other reaction is "don't step on the cable!"
I saw this band before on a video and I remember them not for a song or any music. It's that PLAID/lace/with sequin back dress and patent leather boots! New outfit time.
@@skiyalater626 well she's the girl with the condused 60's dress. Something my sister would wear in HS

I have a similar sentiment in that after seeing them preform along with all the newer American bands that nothing really stands out in terms of memorable artistry. If we break everything down from the song structure and lyrics to the bands instrumental skill level and passion poured into it they all rose to a level of “good” or “acceptable” but not extraordinary or invoke strong feelings or emotions into it. It’s almost like they’re playing a cover song of themselves. A song that itself doesn’t stand to the level of the greatest hits American music has produced but is rather built in their image.
Idk maybe I’m getting old or jaded to the best parts of the past but I feel American rock in general has long past its glory days and died. Now the next best thing that keeps me listening is J-Rock where the mainstream is full of talented overachievers and their music is not really genre specific but every song is blend fusion of genres organized in a orchestral way the same way electronic music uses classical music theory.
Check out Magnolia Boulevard … Maggie Nöelle has an awesome voice and great band.
@@Moma4560. nice not bad, saw some prs tags and knew it was going to at least sounds smooth.

Jimmy kim.el is ba ck , makes my night show, welcome bac k jimmy🎉🎉🎉 you are the only one that can tell the truth about the gold hair man. Missed those fu ny jokes😅😅😅😅
Grace is the guitar player. Who's the singer?
Esther Okai-Tetteh or Esi (how ever that's spelled correctly).
Great performance. But When are Jimmy and Guillermo coming back. With all that's happened with the election, I've been missing his comments, jokes, and his awesome writers.

Seriously, where is Jimmy?
Go the Podge🪩
Deus nos livre do bando do velho Jack, tem quem passa o pano impostor pede Black passa por malandro a inveja existe e a cada dez cinco é na maldade 😅😢
Amen 🤔.
One day I'll buy big archipelagoes.
Sharks will listen to the a capella. Yo!
Moonshine is my liquid fella. Toads
Get roasted. Keep posting bread and snow.
Salute Rap Metamorphosis.
Time to get better. Awful sins
Are part of my life. I eat cheddar, offal things,
And a dirty letter. Waffle bins
Smell like dolphin twins.
I don't play golf and jinx.
I just phart and cough in Whimz.
When Fate scoffs and grins
I don't get soft in this
World of the toxic court and jinx.

Billy's money well will run dry seriously
More like grace bowers and the woke Podge
Jimmy Kimmel really fell off
Absolute nothing interesting about her playing...pentatonic jibberish
"When I die, don't worry about me, because I'll be drinking wine on Venus."
Grace Bowers'ı ilk dinlediğimde Stevie Ray Vaughan'ın Venüs hali demiştim. Wine On Venus* canlı yorumunu bekliyordum. Grace Bowers Eric Clapton gibi grup müziği yapmayı seviyor. Biz de bunu. bkz. Blind Faith

And ... oh, my God ... she is LOUD! :-))
I was waiting for more than a year of Grace's first album ... like someone other here said: Grace & her band will change the world. For the better. And all band members are outstanding musicians. I am close to think of this band as better than Janis Joplin' Big Brother & the Holding Company. If there were a God I would be sure that Grace is God-sent.
