Even tho it’s manual, it still helps you at time wether it’s switching players. Manuel defending with “Match Up” is probably the best if you can read your opponent correctly. It rewards you more than Pressuring with players. Oh n here’s another tip - Try not to select your CB unless it’s absolutely necessary or if they’re in your Box. The AI is really good so instead try to only use your DMF to shut down possible openings. So basically js try to use your midfielders more than your actual defenders when it comes to defending. 👍🏽
