I have wonderboom before,i gave it to my daughter.i love the sound so i bought a new boom 3.the sounds is so good.try party disco sounds (christian nayve bass boosted)
It’s a great speaker for filling a big space with music and it’s better than the mega boom as it’s stronger I have killed the bigger one with a drop and the boom 3 I ran over with a forklift and it didn’t survive but it’s a good speaker the shape and bass is very good I have gone through a few for work it’s a great tuff speaker
I have always wanted this speaker but its always a little too expensive and its almost never on sale when i had the money 😅. My Wonderboom 2 has been going strong for three years now
I think it is for sure it’s on par with those speakers. Some people will say better. They both have die hard fan bases for a reason. I feel once you choose either you stay on that side because they are both good brands. But this speaker is on par with all the charges for sure the charge 5 will probably have a little edge. But another good thing with UE they released a new speaker after a few years went by and it still connects to all their older speakers for party mode. So it all fits in one eco system but JBL has changed their speakers connection to each other twice now and from what I seen the new speakers coming out in may also will have its own party up mode so they can’t connect to their last Gen speakers. so if you go JBL the eco system changes every new generation so they all won’t connect to each other. Not a big deal if you only get one but if you do buy another to upgrade in the future something to think about. That’s one comment I get a lot from casuals and JBL fans that they hate so much. That being said UE doesn’t release new speakers as often as JBL
Good idea for making this update , I always think to buy ue boom but the charging port makes me stressful...im hoping that one day ue become new speaker, maybe ue boom 4 with usbC charging...thats it
For me, UE sound feels almost artificial It’s never as clear as its competitors like JBL etc I’ve had the UE megaboom 3 for a few years now but I’ve now got 2-3 which are better

That is true it’s rare you see this speaker drop under $100 even after this long.

they will refresh this year with usb-c to comply with the EU
