The early episodes had Raymond Burr. He did a good job; such a shame that he got away from "Dragnet". Then again we wouldn't have had him as Perry Mason.

I remember $.10 and then up to two bits.. just remembering phone booths dates us 👍🏼 but the best part ? We’re still walking and still talkin AND we still have DRAGNET !!!!! Dom da dom dom 😎
The cheapest I saw was .20 cents a gallon . At the Penny’s gas station at South Center east of SeaTac and yes a couple bucks went a long way ..Oh Yea !
@Gary Francis Sorta boggles ones mind doesn’t it I built my first bike from spare parts all by myself I got a paper route in the small town I lived in Each month had to go door to door to collect the money. Amazing how so many people didn’t have the $4.00 and made me come back later I think I made the most profit of about $35 I was in the pink man. Lol
I love hearing Harry Morgan in different roles in this series.
I love this show. Honestly I don't even know why, it's just really addictive haha.
This was a good one. Great story setup. It keeps you guessing until the end
Excellent story setup, Webb was a genius.
Character choices superb. I’m surprised the killer was considered sane !
The Night Stalker must have gotten his idea from watching this episode.

Burr was brilliant in the previous Jack Webb series "Pat Novak, For Hire"

In 60 years you can put the brick in Super Glue fumes to get a print!
CSI for the win!
Its 98 degrees & everybody is wearing flannel suits .
We had to wear heavy wool O.D.'s when I was a Ranger in the summer of 66. It would get into the 90s.
@@roncorbyn507 OD’s ? Haven’t heard that one ?

Motive - he's kill crazy!
Jack Webb is A Savage!!!
The boss, Ed Bakstran, sounds like Raymond Burr. Like a lot of television actors, he was a radio voice before he transitioned to tv.
He IS Raymond Burr. "We gotta get him, if we have to shake down the city from one end to the other." Marvelous!
@@nellwackwitz Thanks for the info.
This is my favorite episode 😉
Hooray for this then bc raymond burr and jack webb are my two imaginary boyfriends
Raymond Burr was awesome as Backstrand....wish he had stayed for the full run

I remember but who had a dime? Kids didn’t have that kind of money. Nowadays they have $1200 smartphones and feel oppressed.
