This is now known here in the UK as 'UK Hardcore'. Happy hardcore lost its name around 1999-2002 period. This was due to its death :( Hard house was the new following to ravers here in the UK. Hardcore sound was struggling to compete with the hardhouse crowed and something had to be done to bring back hardcore. This is where it changed to the fast off beat bass and stabs with some original eliments of euphoric strings and piano. But its now filled with more vocals making them more of a song than a tune. Happy hardcore is recognised with its break beat sounds and rolling snares. This was removed by artist's to update the sound. so to me anything produced after 2002 is "UK hardcore" obviously there are producers worldwide but the roots is from the UK dating back to 1991 when it was just called hardcore! Then it branched out to form drum and bass. djs could play either choice in a set where in today's music is hard to play together without it changing the whole feel of the set.
If anyone wants to really listen to what hardcore used to be...UA-cam search Vibealite - Slipmatts Birthday especially Slipmatts set. 1995, the golden era for Hardcore/Breakbeat Hardcore. Some real classics from that time & event.

Quick note about the gear, i was gonna ask you what did u did to connect a turntable on channel 3 of the mixer since it only has phono ins on 1 and 4, the i figured that those staton had phono line and digital outputs!!
