road side cottages are highly preferable in ooty as the food in hotels is not good which costs very expensive. u can explore many restaurants with reasonable price and quality near to road side cottages.
Ooty has 100 better resorts with cheaper rates and is more comfortable with a bathroom attached.

They seem uncomfortable. Tube Rooms are common in Japan as a short stay and I even avoided them there coz they felt a small enclosure (ghutan bro)… while it’s something unique to see it here in India, and the location seems apt and pretty, the overall experience I believe would be below average until there aren’t separate loos…

I don't find these rooms (all 3 categories) cheaper. In this cost one can take beeter rooms at Ooty with attached washroom facilities
Yes plus privacy and washroom are dirty plus hotel have greater customer service
A decathlon twin tent starts from 1,999... There are many places in Ooty where you can stay on top of a hill for free and there are public washrooms as well 24*7. 1,999 for a night for two people along with breakfast is ridiculously expensive.
And kindly give the reply in a sugar coated manner than sounding rude with your direct replies. I am mentioning about the drone comment in which you have replied. Humility is the best thing for a human to have throughout his or her journey. Best wishes

Not worth and expensive. I would prefer normal accommodation with attached bathroom in the main city where nearly all picnic spots are walking distance. Here in these tents and cubicles toilets are not attached. Plus one needs to spend extra for travel around. The video may be paid for promotion. Too expensive

It has a downside too. A Canadian pine tree took 10-20 years for one growing in a sunny area to reach maturity or 30-40 years in the cold. So, one may have chopped down many trees. Instead of this they should have used eco friendly options.

I have been there it's an awesome place to stay. Only thing it's common bathroom. But rest is superb.

Other rooms are better than this. The cost is more in Capsule or the hobit rooms that you said. I went to a room for a family of 3 , that costs 850 or 860 per night.
