Disc Golf is so popular here in Finland. Like everyone plays it, If they would have an event like this in Helsinki it would draw like tens of thousands of spectators
That audio editing sounds a bit weird. My guess is that one camera has a compressor/limiter on the audio and the other one does not. It makes the one without compressor sound more silent, because you can't hear the wind on the leaves. Solution: add compressor/limiter to the other audio track as well so there won't be that big difference in the quality.
I had to go back and see what you're talking about and I still don't know what you're talking about. I thought the commentary was terrific and a welcome change. Certainly didn't hear anything close to a spoiler.
Does SpinTV know that anyone else plays disc golf besides McBeth?? He's still my favorite player, but their hard-on for him is a little much at times....
Bro he is in the lead card every tournament. Everyone wants to watch the lead card. Thats a testament to his skill not favoritism of covering a player....
Oh wow, good catch! I guess I should have said Nokia has an "infamous course" since the Beast inflicts that punishment, but official apologies are in order to the city of Nokia! Nothing bad about that place at all from a disc golf standpoint.
this may be too nit picky, but I would prefer that the camera angle would stay on the teebox angle for a longer time until the disc goes out of view or to capture the disc landing.
Ideally you'd hear a color and a play-by-play with both, but since the time between shots is so short, there's not really time. I prefer Avery's perspective because he's been there and has a lot of great insight that you could only get from a Pro. I think what would add a lot of repeat viewership and fill in the gaps better would be a little more background on the players. Information about them as individuals to give it more of a personal feel.
You make good videos. They would be even more well received if you didn't upload half of a round, especially half of a final round, at a time. OR you could simply let us know what your estimated upload schedule is.
Jamie did say when ricky and paul were both -2 for the round, paul is making a dent in the lead when in actuality he was no closer to ricky at that point. So it was kind of foreshadowing
Can you not say the names of discs anymore or something? Jamie obviously knows paul is throwing a nova at 21:10 but he just says overmold putter instead
he says the name of discs, or avery did, so there is no rule for it. My thing was if you are gonna say the name of discs, do more than just the innova guys
Yeah I suppose so, he mentioned the Anthon destroyer later in the video too, and yeah it is kinda annoying when they do innova only, but to be fair a lot of people aren't as familiar with other brands, especially trilogy discs like ricky's latitude 64
Yeah it's a balancing act. I've never been instructed one way or the other, but personally I try not to talk much about disc molds because 1) Don't bite the hand that feeds, 2) I'm not sure I want to go down the rabbit hole of learning the bags of every pro player, 3) If I start talking about discs often I'm sure SOMEBODY somewhere will judge me as favoring one brand over another, even if I do my very best to keep it even. I try to only talk about it when characteristics of the disc (overmold, stability, speed) are factors in the shot selection or the result, just to give perspective on my perspective, lol. Overall I believe the "archer, not arrow" theory anyway. Anthon was obviously an exception to my "rule" - but the stamp was pretty clear in frame so it felt right at the time.
A gammet of legal troubles and struggles from what I heard. Josh is an amazing player and really good dude though. I played with him in Nor Cal over ten years ago. He is a true contributor to the sport of disc golf
It can't be a spoiler, because I didn't know what was going to happen. "Coincidence" is what you mean, or "educated guess" since all of the guys on this card have proven their ability to win in tight races.
+James Thomas sorry, im just super weird about spoilers and i assumed you knew what was goin to happen since the commentary was added in post. Great vid.
That crowd this year was awesome! Hope to see some events in the states with gallery's like that.

I love the confidence that The Spin TV creates in their commentaries! Great work everyone.
Love to see such big galleries. These guys deserve it. They always put on a good show. Nice videos.
Great video guys, but I don't appreciate hinting spoilers. Example would be hole 8 around Ricky's 3rd shot. Can't wait to see how it turns out.
Awesome job team! Well done. But Jamie - you need to check the definition of the word "infamous".
yep, I totally used it wrong
Part 2
Please...
Who checkin it out in 2019 after the McBeth Johnny disc golf interview?
Seen it once, now I'm seeing it again
Good coverage and good commentary. Thanks guys, I'm enjoying following this card through the tourney.
Sup with that back 9 😐? This upload schedule is killing me. Trying to see the round not the wrap up show.

Fantastic coverage as par usual
Great coverage, great round. Not used to rooting for McBeth as the underdog. Can't wait to see the final 9!

???
Great coverage as usual!
Best commentary of the video @ 18:55
"This is where the knee comes into play. Can you knock it down when you knee to" LOL
Does SpinTV know that anyone else plays disc golf besides McBeth?? He's still my favorite player, but their hard-on for him is a little much at times....

Shoutout to Beaver State Fling, not on lead card at all.
Yeah! Been waiting for this! I love the content!
By the way, you know that "infamous" means "having a bad reputation", right? :P
Can you put the time link in? I can't remember where I said it.
I definitely want to use words correctly, lol!
At around 00:13. It was a great video though! Always great coverage!
Oh wow, good catch! I guess I should have said Nokia has an "infamous course" since the Beast inflicts that punishment, but official apologies are in order to the city of Nokia! Nothing bad about that place at all from a disc golf standpoint.

I agree with this comment. The footage IS great, but would like to see the disc track from the tee longer.
On hole 2 Simon got a bogey but he still stayed and watched everybody else putt. That is a good sportsman
sic!!!! Can't wait!!!! thanks spin
LOL he is inlove with Paul this commentary. im getting rofled out listening to him!
ayyyyy lmmmaooo
Anyone know what Rickey through on hole one? I was expecting a compass, but the discs had a DD biofuzion stamp on it.
It's the year of Wysocki
He is killing it this season. Fun to watch!
I always root for Simon, and he nearly always breaks my heart.
I want to see the back 9 any body knows when will be aveable
At the 15:48 mark, Jamie states: "KY ... a little less ground play there." To quote George Takei ... "oh my!"
ROFL. "There's why (referring to the disc not skipping)...a little less ground play there." :D
So nice to not here Avery blabbing away

why would you delay part 2 so much??????????????
What!? WHAT!? Where is back 9!??????
How are you gonna post the other card's full round nearly back to back, and not do the same with the lead card's round?
IIRC chase card was 1 camera and no commentary....
hey when does back 9 come ? :)
You make good videos. They would be even more well received if you didn't upload half of a round, especially half of a final round, at a time. OR you could simply let us know what your estimated upload schedule is.
it's all over social media.
The schedule is all over social media? you mean except in the one place people actually watch the videos
please dont talk about the back 9 during the front 9 commentary...
At what point did they spoil the back 9 during this commentary?
you one of those spoiler alert guys huh...
Jamie did say when ricky and paul were both -2 for the round, paul is making a dent in the lead when in actuality he was no closer to ricky at that point. So it was kind of foreshadowing
he talked about ricky's shot hitting by the pin and then rolling away as being the "beginning of the bad luck" or something to that degree
Where are part 2?????
Can you not say the names of discs anymore or something? Jamie obviously knows paul is throwing a nova at 21:10 but he just says overmold putter instead

+James Thomas Ahhh I see, that's probably the smartest way to do it overall considering the criticism that Internet commenters can bring haha
+Andy A I actually work for myself. I'm sorry you think I'm a tool even though we've never met. You seem like a real peach yourself ;)
Re 25:45 ... Whatever happened to Josh Anthon ?
A gammet of legal troubles and struggles from what I heard. Josh is an amazing player and really good dude though. I played with him in Nor Cal over ten years ago. He is a true contributor to the sport of disc golf
Wow ... I just Googled him , shocking news. I remember playing with Josh @ Grass Valley about 15 years ago.
I played with him at Budda Tree up in Humboldt. My first ever tournament, it was actually 12 years ago. I won Rec, lol
Well , hopefully after the troubles are behind him we will get to see Josh back out on tour someday
+KeenOne Best amen
Always with the "needs no introduction" then introduces him.
I would ask all the commentators not to mention the results of other tournaments.
SPOILERS!!! "we gonna come down to the wire" -_-
It can't be a spoiler, because I didn't know what was going to happen.

;) glad you enjoyed!
Man, I swear.
Thats me playing at 15:00.
Watching in 2020, still one of the best rounds with one of the worst commentary
JFC the commentator likes to trash Simon doesn’t he?
babble babble babble
